The fake was made in factory called VR in China.
Beginners are not easy to spot fakes, so I hope you develop your ability to spot fake ROLEX Submariner through this video.

This can be very misleading, because the new 41mm Rolex Submariner aka "bluesy" utilize the 3235 calibre counter clockwise to set the time. Rolex also use the counter clockwise for other calibre so double check your watch calibre movement before calling your watch or other FAKE. Stay safe out there.

So VRF is laser “engraving” their cases? That’s a dead giveaway right there and looks like crap. All of the good reps are now engraving just like a gen. IMHO, you have a decent rep that you have shown as comparison, but not a great rep. The new reps, well after the damn raids get passed us right now, are about as close to impossible to tell from a gen without removing the case back as you can get. Hell, I’ve seen videos lately where current watch guys talk about these “huge” tells they find. Of course they take some kind of macro lens to see. Nobody will ever know the difference on the wrist. Needing a loupe makes spotting tells laughable to the average human.
Rolex is causing this as far as I am concerned. I have been on a list for any of 3 different color OP 41’s at my AD since their release last September. Because I don’t buy other junk from them, I won’t be getting one anytime soon. But I can most certainly go order a rep that will pass perfectly to anyone that sees it for $380, or I can pay a flipper 3 times the money/retail on the secondary market. It sucks, but I have decided I will support the damn Chinese before I support the flippers. When I finally find the OP41 at regular retail, I’ll buy it and pass the rep on to someone else with full disclosure. But until that disclosure, nobody will know the difference except me.

I freaked out for my 41mm sub as i adjusted the time, it was counter clockwise. Further googling i realized 3235 is indeed counter clockwise contrary to 3035’s clockwise.
A dead giveaway on fake Rolex watches with colored dials specifically is how the light reflection bends the color slightly on the fake while it is an even bend on the genuine. You can easily see this at the beginning of the video. The Black dials that don't have a reflective dial are extremely difficult to distinguish.

I recently bought the VSF version super clone of the Submariner Starbucks. I am genuinely amazed by how good it is. I have checked many videos and pictures of the real thing against my clone and there is no visible difference at all. The bracelet, often overlooked by reviewers, is just as the real one and the bezel is ridiculously smooth and precise. I can compare it to my Explorer(genuine) and it feels like a Rolex too which is the amazing X Factor that you cannot see. It took me just two weeks to get and though I expected to be disappointed somewhere in the mix I am not at all. So good are these things now that I wonder if the real thing would be better at all. I will probably get one of these watches the one you review here or maybe a Daytona with blue dial.
Do you worry about the daytime blue dial being steel and not platinum?
The only thing different is the most important when you buy and wear a real rolex...the FEELING!! THIS have no price , but only when you wear one of them you can understand , real rolex its not for have time or try to lie at other persons and at yourself...

Fakes don’t damage the market that much. When you own a superclone against your genuine, wear the genuine for relaxed times and then put it in safe…. and then keep the fake out on display, best insurance ever…

Who else out there thinks the fake looks better? I like the printing on the fake better. For example, the printing "stainless steel" on the fake looks more precise and better quality. The detail on the crown on the winder is better on the fake. Rolex should consider having the fake factory produce watches and sell them for 20% more.

@@watchmakerjd8525 I have had many Rolex watches, and I use clones as a stunt watch. Meaning I use them for everyday use playing tennis, squash etc.. Dinging up a Rolex watch, is like a stab to the heart. 😢

All fake watches are bound to be unstable. However, fakes equipped clone 2824 and 2836 is a little more stable.
Starting around 6:00 look at the center of the dial plate around the arm drive axle as the light passes it. The fake has a much deeper detent than the real one does.
If you’ve never held a rolex you won’t be able to tell the diff b/w a superclone and a real one.

My friend recently bought a $300 fake Rolex on *amzwatch* . I know and understand the moral part of all this. the dial and ceramic bezel is real thru. Literally they have all the blueprints needed to make the watch 95% except for white gold / yellow gold used
Thing is VRF isn’t even the better factory that makes the fake clean factory and VSF are much better they will be even closer to gen
I am not sure about VS quality, but I hear that the CLEAN version of this is better, replicated VR3135 "Asia Clone VR3135 Automatic Movement, 28800bph with Fully Decorated Rotor and Bridges & Plates like Genuine Rolex Calibre 3135".

On all Rolex with sunburst dial the most obvious tell, is the dial colour variation under light, fake sunburst dial colour variation looks horribles under direct light..

Do you really want to know if it's real or fake... the biggest clue is.... on the crystal hovering above the 6 o'clock there is the Rolex symbol engraved into the crystal barley visible to the naked eye you can see it with a microscope or a torch depending on what angle the light catches it... your welcome

With Rolex you are literally paying for a brand. In fact you could buy an Omega Seamaster for 4k (which is super expensive) and it will keep better time than any of the Rolex watches you get that would cost you 10 times as much.

If you want a replica, go on a dedicated forum and check for a reputable reseller. Or better, if you don't have money for an expensive watch, buy a Seiko 5, it's automatic, nice, cheap and well manufactured.
