@@mathmocha1331 I feel that. Sure the enemies are challenging but I don't really feel any fear of "Oh my god I could die any second." I had a feeling that Project Aces would add an "Ace of Aces" difficulty and make us feel that fear again, but it seems that wasn't meant to be.
It’s actually a bit challenging because if you make one collision you can’t move the plane for a few seconds, so if it happens in the funnel you’re screwed.
How very convenient you turned on reduced collision damage to make AC7 seem more forgiving than it actually is. Also, Count having no collision makes sense from a level design and technical point of view. That way we the player don't have to worry about him actually crashing and can focus on the point of the game... playing it. It's not a glitch when it's literally designed to be that way.
In AC3 Ghosts of the Past Rena follows our plane, but if we crash she crashes also, she doesnt fly trough the collisions. Nice tunnel route you took with Auora.... WhAt dE fOk!? 1:52 (its a reference to one x-49 speedrun vid, for anyone wondering) But yeha, 7 be like playin pinboll wit plen. Also some interesting trivia, AC3 maps are 131072 meters by 131072 meters, so, the scale is insane to say the least. I managed to import Krishty's tunnel map extract into blender and tunnel measures are wild after rescaling map to right measures (131x131 km). Actual lenght of tunnel (without skybox wall at the end) is 125.37 kilometers. On 2x doors each passage is 447.7 by 255.8 meters. Lenght of door passage is 1023.4 meters (absolute 100% correct measure should prob be 1024). Lenght between one door passage to another is 2046.8 meters. I could go on but i guess there is no need, basically, tunnel in AC3 is f*cking big. By taking these measures into account 'Tunnel Vision' mission really lives up to it's name, since we are experiencing severe case of tunnel vision while flying trough it.
@@Zeithri The wae is full of bullshit steps..... You will need little program called "view3dscene", it can open .wrl files, but more importantly it can export them as .x3d (xml). You basically open .wrl export as .x3d and then import that file with blender. Now this is where bullshit of another level begins.... materials break, in a sense that they loose association with textures. So you end up with import that has wrong scale and broken materials but UV's and vertex color remains as they should. @@dont_jinx_me Compared to AC3's extravagantly long and disorientating tunnel run, the AC7's is actually easier to fly. The video focuses on the comparison between the two, and not on AC7 alone :) Besides, AC3 automatically turned off the reduced collision effect whenever Hard mode was selected in order to make things more interesting, which was notably missing in AC7, where we have to manually check it off in the settings menu even if it was on Ace mode (although the increased difficulty didn't make a difference in the tunnel mission) :)

I think this is the thinnest tunnel we've ever got in any Ace Combat game, of mandatory tunnel runs at least.
