You think the aircraft in PW bouncing is strange? Do you realize how many people decides to do multiple flips JUST before landing? See how strange that gets.
People seem to always fucking forget. Project Wingman was created by ONE PERSON, with some help from 2 other people. Ace Combat is a multi-million dollar franchise created by a HUGE gaming/toy giant, Bandai Namco.
From experience the only thing that made AC7 difficult were the Janky flight controls. The AI didn’t get too difficult even on max difficulty. Meanwhile on PW it is sweaty as hell to get through one mission with the best plane on max difficulty.
@@luigimrlgaming9484 huh I actually found them both difficult in different ways, more so AC7 however, but maybe thats because I started on PW. I personally found "boss" encounters in AC7 more difficult to dog fight (mihaly), then crimson 1. half because PW high level planes are just so OP in what they can carry. a well placed rail gun shot? a cluster cloud of tracking missiles? with 25 or so shots each? The other half because I just don't know how to dog fight in AC7, b/c in PW u can just max throttle and spam flares. PW only got hard for me when I insisted on trying to use the AOA limiter instead of flares, and there being too many SAMs and enemy fighters to dodge
@@isaacworrall8004 I found the AC7 boss encounters to be hard in a way that just wasn’t fun, they were blatantly artificially given advantages over you. Mihaly broke the laws of physics and made his plane go faster than an SR-71 on crack whenever a scripted event happened. The arsenal bird was annoying as hell to defeat as you just stood behind it for 2 minutes while 50 drones tried to kill you as you try to take down all the propellers. That coupled with the clunky aircraft made them quite unenjoyable to fight. Crimson Squadron on the contrary was very hard to fight but also very fun to as well, because your plane could do basically everything there’s could and they were going full on it felt like an actual challenge keeping up with them. The first time you meet them on mission 6 your at a disadvantage because your thumb is sore, you were geared for ground combat and your low on missiles and judging by how they talked about the squadron I tried to get away as fast as possible from that place in my Su-25. It was kinda nerve wracking. Also your not really supposed to use the super planes on anything below mercenary difficulty and expect a challenge, the PW mark one is overpowered because it’s the thing that’s going to make mercenary difficulty possible. Also I find in PW that flares will only get you so far, AOA is much better against large groups of enemies as often you will have missiles coming in every second and the flares cooldown will kill you if you even try to stick around as there’s only so many you can dodge with regular maneuvers. Let’s not forget about the fact that the enemy AI do you use their guns to great effect if your jousting them and rail guns can kill you very easily if you stay in one place. I played Project Wingman first and when I hopped over to Ace Combat 7 the campaign felt like a breeze (that might be because I accidentally selected very easy in the first run but even afterwards the difficulty change was marginal) compared to the stuff in PW. They also lacked one of the mission’s that was an absolute nightmare but one of the funnest by far in PW. Where’s the Ace Combat 7 Mass air combat mission?
One of the cooler things about taking off in Ace Combat 7 is that it seems they didn't change the downward pitch at all when landing gear is out. You can do an almost immediately vertical by rolling upside down and pointing to the sky c:
Also in 04 when you Clip or just get shot down, your plane doesn’t just Spins all goofy but Actually keeps its momentum of movement at least where nose is vectored ? Same with Ace6 but instead Your plane can Keep turning If Shot Down WHILE High-g’ing actually And I believe PW does the same with getting shot down 😅
I dont mind the Ace7 approach but tbh its a huge stepback after we saw planes get shredded in Assault Horizon, sure that game could have done the getting shredded to pieces part a lot better but it was way better than Ace7
@@TheEvo86bro like Ass7 didn’t even have the Players plane fall apart and shred when shot down, and That would have made getting shot down Still fun 🤷♂️
Its still a wierd glitch tho. The only landing issue in Ace7 is probably that you sometimes tailstriked and the plane bounces back and forth and blows up
I love how people claim this game is a masterpiece but has many bugs not much as cyberpunk.. edit: I triggered some PW fanboys over here, I said "has many bugs NOT MUCH as cyberpunk" edit I committed war crime
Are you for real!? Something being called masterpiece is relative, it really depends which 2 games are you comparing, but just remember Cyberbugs launch and ensuing bug shitshow. If you try to compare those two PW is clearly masterpiece, it's like comparing the sky and mud.
@@Kiri678 nah more like overpromised and broken parts. For example for the consoles there are many bugs like breaking crimson finale fight if you kill him quickly enough, the game will be confused
@@thebluespider9003 Can't say anyting about how it's on consoles since i'm on PC, but so far i didn't have any issues with PW. So, comparing it to Cyberpunk is harsh.
Ace Combat 7 isnt being made fun of :D

Ryan-Air pilots will feel right at home landing in Project Wingman. :)

Now try post-stall landing with speed demon modifier
1:52 yeah you did it
I like to call it "weird fireball effect"
i'd like to see comparison of enemy ai, and flight manoeuvres
I presume you mean something like this :)

real no fake?
In some aspects it resembles more ac than ac7
"Wierd physics" i feel thats a great way to describe PW in general lol
My favorite youtuber. You deserve 1kk subs
Thank you so much Tekimo! :)
0:09 It sound Through the Fire and Flames, your welcome
The difference is that one i can buy.
The other i can't.
My coment didn't age well at all... I got AC7 as my birthday gift
well i mean plane irl when touch down does shake alot but umn...
Wait for them to figure out air resistance, friction and crosswind.
Never happened to me in PW 💀
I'm getting a feeling that it's my pc being the culprit here :0
Wow ace combat 7 is so realistic
My pw doesn't bounce when I land, I think your glitching out.
Try not to flare on landing and keep the nose raised even after touching down :)
Its still a wierd glitch tho. The only landing issue in Ace7 is probably that you sometimes tailstriked and the plane bounces back and forth and blows up
Is is even possible to post-stall land a fighter in AC 7?
I did it in PW a few times (it's actually kinda difficult).
As of now, nope :/
The dev for project wingman probably didn’t expect people to kamikaze parked C-17s. There’s a runway, you’re supposed to land on it, not the planes
