Currently learning how to use it but it lacking a lot in work flow. Very limited in what it can do.
This is a great showcase. However I don't seem to have the your standard set of components available to me and was wondering if there is some way to download a default set off components from Altium?
Everyone has access to the open-source Celestial library in the Components panel. If you can't find what you need in that library, you can go to the Manufacturer Part Search Panel and you will find many components there. Other than that you can find many open-source libraries on github.
Interesting, but how do you create the components for harness's like a connector
Se crea una parte que solo tiene simbolo esquemático, sin PcbLib. Luego en el diseño del harness se utiliza de la misma manera que en esquemático.
One question, can you recommend if altium can be used for rack wiring design
SolidWorks Electrical is probably better suited for this, but be warned the learning curve is steep.
@@FibonacciK If you had electrical knowledge solidworks electrical, autocad or E3 will not be a problem to learn. Altium harness It looks more to cases where your product mainly is electronic.
@@FibonacciK Agreed. Its brutal. I have tried but its painful
How to create a harness library?
