Love ya reaction to this song❤ Tom is from the South Wales valleys where I'm from and started his singing career in the club's around the valleys. He truly is a great ambassador for us. Tom is still singing now in his 80s and is still sounding amazing. God blessed him with a stunning voice. God bless ya Tom and here's hoping many more years of singing. Love ya❤❤❤❤

I remember hearing this song when it first came out. I was just 11 but it was smoooth!
A man named Lonnie Donegan wrote it for him. Lonnie died in 2002. His son, Peter, was on The Voice in 2019 and Sir Tom Jones was the first to hit on him. Tom Jones heard the singer’s last name and asked if there was any relation to Lonnie Donegan. Peter acknowledged that was his dad and really surprised Tom. They sang this song together that night.
Both Lonnie’s widow and Peter’s wife watched from backstage.

Hey bro greetings from Wales 🏴 UK, my birthplace and birthplace to Tom Jones! 😊 Wales is the smallest of the 4 countries that make up the UK. We’re mighty proud of Tom in these parts! Tom was about 18 months into his career when he performed this and to many Americans they connect with him indirectly because of Fresh Prince Of Bel Air and ‘Carlton’s dance’ because Carlton dances to Tom’s first hit record It’s Not Unusual from around 1965. Here right now in ‘23 Tom is now 82 and us about to tour in the UK 😊 Tom married his high school girlfriend in 1957, they were married until her death from cancer in 2016 after which he sold their family mansion in Los Angeles per her wishes. Tom now lives in London. He was really good friends with Elvis Presley until his untimely death, Tom first met him when Elvis attended one of Tom’s shows in Los Vegas and went backstage to meet Tom and asked him “how the hell do ya sing like that?!” This song was written by an English singer songwriter Lonnie Donegan who had recorded it with little success and invited Tom to his home to take a listen believing Tom had the necessary vocal chops to do the song justice, the rest as they say is history! 😊🏴🇬🇧🇺🇸

Tom Jones is currently 83 his voice is as strong as it was years ago. He still has concerts and he is a judge on THE VOICE, UK he often sings on the program. You can catch it right here on YOU TUBE. You must see it, you will be amazed!!!

Actually it's" Sr Tom Jones " he is a living legend and was awarded the title of Sir by the late Queen for his wonderful contribution to the music industry, and although he know 80 his voice has not changed he is still incredible, great reaction loved it , I remember watching this when it was broadcast I was 15 💖💖UK

Dude, Ive watched a ton of reaction videos, your response is in the top three or four of the best ones I've seen. Im an old dude, playing music for over 50 years, I actually had a crooked agent book my band into a club as "The Tom JOnes Revue-One night ONly"- he had a fake portfolio on Jones, took thousands of dollars in front money from the club owner, hopped on a plane and left my band to the WOLVES man. You best believe there were a LOT of swanky people from NYC arrive in limos, El Dorados, floor length mink coats who had paid BIG $$ to see Tom Jones. I think we played one song and a riot broke out. They swarmed the stage and beat the shit out of our singer. I made it out in one piece.

At 18 trying to figure out women is like understanding 'Nuclear Physics' after 12th grade, wait until your Collage "Courses" kick in. You're in for the battle of your life at times. Women can rip your heart out, suck the blood out, then stomp on it! (just like we do to them). I'm 70 now and happy as hell to live alone. Fulfill your (legal) fantasies while young, so you can be, actually, happier with your solitude. (I missed nothing). Hello, I love your reaction. I'm 68 and I remember Tom Jones very well. In 1965 we lived in close communities and nobody could get away with anything. Furthermore, nobody was exposed f you were getting up to mischief as there was an enormous amount of shame attached. It really was another world: LP Hartley wrote 'the past is a foreign country and we do things differently there'. We were far more restricted. Another point you made about Tom's singing. He may have the gift of a good voice but the amount of dedication it took for him to get there was enormous. I really did enjoy your reaction: it made me laugh. Another point, Tom is Welsh and they are famous for their male voice choirs there. Thank you!
At the time of singing this song in 1967, Tom was married to his teenage sweetheart for 10 years 🤩 as I said before he sings every song like that. He didn’t get his heart broken by a girl, but in reality he just knew how to sing with every fibre of his voice, that made you think 🤔 he was going through a break up 🤩
