My uncle had one of these in Blue on a P reg, 75/76, early manual car. The car must've been 2 years old when he bought it. Troublesome beast as I remember and the fuel consumption was appalling. He parted company with it and went into a 308.
Don't know were you get that idea from or India ? I have been working on these cars for over 40 plus years and I have never ever had one drop a valve seat, HE or Pre HE
Wow! That’s pretty much Return Of The Saint spec (except for the blue leather) - if only I had the cash to buy it!!! Beautiful!
I've only ever seen one of these, I MOT tested it many years ago!
They are much rarer than people think!
352 or so of them total. Great car
Looks fabulous
If you wish I can provide a tutorial of how to close that bonnet. Thanks for sharing
Yes, good idea!
Didn't these have a black panel behind the rear number plate????
Some did, some didn’t - I don’t know why!

Probably depended on who was working on the "paint the back panel" shift that day.
Only the very early 1976 cars did if I remember correctly!
They always seem to sell nice looking cars from 20ft but quite rough underneath. I assume they but them really cheap
Each car is different for sure! and yes, this was really cheap!
