Deaf people are deaf not mute. Any deaf person can talk just like any hearing person can sign. They can talk, they can sign, they can dance, they can read lips, they can write books, they can communicate with hearing people who don't know sign language, they can sing, they can play instruments, they can do everything and anything except hear. It's not a disability it's a set back, and a drive to fight.

+Jessika Grindstaff it depends on the person, but to my understanding, most deaf people understand PSE. And PSE actually uses ASL signs, they're not different. The difference in signs may be because they vary regionally. And personally I think PSE is easier because you don't have to learn a new syntax or grammar system
But by using PSE instead it isn't ASL. ASL is only when it is in that order pse isn't asl

I don’t know sign language. I wish I did, I love this channel. I think this is amazing that people who can’t hear or can’t speak have another way to have a voice. This is a gift that I can hear and speak. I love the people who reach out and respect that not everyone can do what most think is just basic stuff.

I’m not deaf, but I’m going to school to teach sight language ( ASL) because I grew up loving it! I love how the world has grown and became a place where deaf can now order food at restaurants and can communicate. But it’s very rare, I live in the south where you get the look of “ you now how to do that! “ When I sign. I hope one day this world will become a place where deaf person does not need to be scared to order food ☺️

I know you're going for PSE, but it might help for you to learn a little grammar. It's not hard and I think it could help you a lot. You use a lot of Signed Exact English signs that keeps you from being PSE. Not all signs are ASL. Some signs are used specifically in SEE only. An example would be "and" since that sign is not for ASL or PSE, only SEE.

You have great palm orientation and your signing is clear, a very enjoyable video to watch. This is a great PSE cover of the song.
That being said, people that are searching for an ASL translation should not be viewing this video. There are members of the Deaf community that love PSE and prefer an interpreter use it as opposed to ASL. My opinion in regards to signing songs is to use ASL and not PSE. PSE is being very English and word for word. Interpreting the song literally in PSE does not actually give meaning to the song as much as it would in ASL (Lyric: "There's a fire burning in my bones" does not make sense in PSE and would be better in ASL). Any member of the Deaf community can look up the lyrics themselves so they usually want what the song means as opposed to seeing it signed as a direct translation.
Thanks, and I appreciate the feedback. I title it ASL because if it said PSE, no one would know what it was, so that's why I just put PSE in the description. I understand what you're saying about ASL for music, and I know many people have that same opinion. But personally, I prefer PSE for songs because I believe that it holds true to the artist's creative integrity as far as their lyrics go.
