Suddenly i remembered my friend when I was a child who is deaf mute. She taught me how to communicate with her for years. She is now in Europe, married to a deaf mute also. They have a child who is able. I feel blessed to have learned how to do sign language, not much but it helps to understand them.
You are the first Pinoy to do this. Thank you from a special needs Mom and Special Ed Teacher. You are awesome! Please continue doing this! You will inspire a lot of people in the special needs community.

I learned ASL years ago but I'm out of practice. Our teacher would always emphasize "Total Communication". Don't just use your hands but your whole body and facial expression. It's also important to "mouth" the words. What you did here Christine is a perfect example of "Total Communication". It was beautiful!
