Oh man I bought my Elvie 4 years ago and am using it for my 2nd baby. I’ve never had those issues. I had to do troubleshooting when I first went to use them after them being dead for 3 years. But ever since I got them going it’s been great.
Maybe the new ones aren’t made well? I’m not sure. When I got mine there were only two types of hands free willow and Elvie. I love it so much still to this day. I use them a few times a week still no issues.
If I was permanently a stay at home mom and the mom cozy was available I would have purchased those instead based off cost and the amount of milk it can hold.
Also you can just override the Elvie sensor and keep pumping till it’s maxed out. I do it all the time. Each time it shuts off just turn it back on pump mode:)

This was extremely helpful! I'm going to be exclusively pumping so I have been reviewing several wearable pump videos. Yours has been the best s12 review. I honestly don't mind the noise of it. From your video, it still seems quieter than my Medela. 😂
I've seen several videos about the elvie being flawed. Most have the same issues as yours. I'm so glad that I decided to check TH-cam reviews before I spent a lot of money on it! Thank you for this video!!!

The idea of the Elvie is so cool but it is the most finicky pump I have ever used. Almost always some sort of issue getting it turned on, using the app, or getting suction. So expensive for so many issues!
