I agree. I am trying to research pumps for my wife and their website is so hard to navigate and gather information. I’m not sure why companies don’t just keep it simple and show a tried and true comparison chart.
Both are great, but it depends what you are looking for in a pump. If you’re looking for a part-time pump that focuses on comfort and output, then I think the Momcozy M5 is an excellent choice. If you’re looking for a powerful pump with added convenience features and an extended battery life, then the Momcozy M6 is the pump for you. I also recommend checking out the new V1 Pro as it comes with some impressivefeatures. This is my video review on it th-cam.com/video/FG1uEWT9pKo/w-d-xo.html
I am fairly big on top 38H. Dec 6 i will be 3 mos PP. I think i have elastic nipples but im not sure. I may just have the wrong flange sizes but wtvr size i try its the same thing. Maybe i still have wrong size. I breastfeed and formula feed but majority formula. I BF knowing ill formula right after. I dont consistently pump, i dont consistently BF. When i use wearble (lansinoh) or wall pump (spectra) i get maybe 2 oz to 3 oz MAXXX. I pump for minimum 15 minutes each side and max 30min. Still max i get is 3 oz I will be going back to work and need to start consistently pumping. Which pump do you recommend?
If you're looking for a Momcozy pump and have elastic nipples then the S12 Pro would be my pick as it has long flange tunnels which are needed for elastic nipples. I also really love the new Momcozy V1 Pro 😊 Here is my review for it: th-cam.com/video/FG1uEWT9pKo/w-d-xo.html
@pumpingmilk which one do you recommend? V1 pro or v2 pro? You mentioned for elastic nipples I should go with v1 pro, so was curious if I should go with the v2 pro since it's newer?
@@jessicaaghavian1332I prefer the V1 Pro as it has the additional option to choose your cycle speed, like on the Spectra. I think this is fantastic for being able to find a setting that best works for you and your body.
@jessicaaghavian1332 if you don't mind the tubing, I'd choose the V1 Pro. Its got more features and control over your pumping experience. That said, if you have elastic nipples and need the additional tunnel length, the S12 Pro has the longer flange tunnels.
They are both around 3cm. The M9 actually has a longer tunnel, but there is a hole near the end of the tunnel for the milk to flow down, so the nipple would need to stop short of this giving you the 3cm. Hope this helps.
@@pumpingmilk thanks. I was just wondering if I could use my maymom extra long inserts with the v2. I have the m9 and I’m able to use them with it. Looks like it would be questionable and most likely not work for the v2.
@@Thunderbussie123 I don't have a Maymom extra long insert on hand to check sorry, depending how long they are they may or may not fit. I normally recommend the S9/S12 Pro for elastic nipples if someone wants a Momcozy Pump.
Another thing to consider is sterilization options. I’ve read somewhere that you cannot use UV sterilizer for M6 so I went with M9. The app is quite plain but still helpful, I enjoyed it.
Thanks for the feedback, especially with the app! I did just double check the manual for the M9 though and it also says to avoid using a microwave or UV sterilizer (page 16) as higher temperatures (above 110 degrees Celsius) will shorten their service life and cause safety hazard.
@@pumpingmilk thank you. I heard the info from a mother of 5 who does reviews on breast pumps, she has tried all kinds of pumps so I just assumed she’s right haha. When I checked with her she said she still use UV for her M9 and had no problem, but if I’m worried I can do 5-10 mins sterilization after normal washing (regular cycle 60 mins for my device). So that’s what I intent to do.
@pjnkblue yes it's definitely a personal choice. I have heard of people doing it with no issues too, just be mindful you would void your warranty so that is something to keep in mind. I totally get the convince factor though 😊
It really comes down to your preferences and what you're looking for in a breast pump. The M5 is definitely a popular choice. If you don't mind tubing, then the new V1 Pro is definitely worth checking out too. Here's my review video for the V1 Pro: th-cam.com/video/FG1uEWT9pKo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Ba93zAJi09yTohWW

Thank you for this! I've been wrecking my brain trying to find a video as informative as this one. YOU ROCK!
Oh thank you for the lovely feedback! And so glad it was what you were after!!
This video was so helpful! More informative than the Momcozy website itself!

What would be the best for low milk supply? I know wall pumps are better for low milk and I have one but I have to go back to work and need a wearable

What pump is best for elastic nipples? Tried Willow go, Stride 2, and mendal free style. Non of them get more than 2 oz.
In the Momcozy range, I would go with the S12 Pro as it has the longest flange tunnel 😊
So m5 is the best? Is double s9 better or m5

Do any of the other pumps have the 105 degree angle besides the m5?
Great question! The M5 is the only pump in the Momcozy range with the 105 degree angle.
