Thank you so much!!! I called keurig to see if they could help and they just said they could send me a new one. I came across this video and thought why not try it and it worked!!! Hardest part was getting the darn cover off. What a horrible design! This happened to me after following the descaling directions
Thank you also! I fixed mine also. Don't trust the absence of the ADD WATER light. If there's not enough water, add some to it. That happened to me when I was Descaling mine. I thought maybe it would just shut off automatically when it got to the end, not shut the thermostat breaker off! Won't make that mistake again. It's a pain getting the cover off! Good luck all!
Thanks for the info. Ours has worked great since Christmas. My wife descaled yesterday. Will not power on. I'm assuming the high temperature tripped the reset. Can't wait to try this tonight.
Mine did this after descaled guessing next time wait a little longer betweeen heating it up. I guess it caused it to overheat and trip from to many used at a time. This fixed my issue thank you
Thanks so much for the clear, concise instructions. This fixed my Keurig! Also, if you don't mind my asking, what is the name of your granite? Are the flecks in it kind of burgundy colored? Thanks!!
Hi Rita. I really don't know the name of the granite. My wife picked it when we upgraded the kitchen and bathrooms. Yes, some of the flecks are burgundy. It is very nice. Thank you for viewing my video. I'm glad it helped you.
Bad design of keurig. The temperature switch should have access from the outside just like other appliances. It will be easy to reset when the coffee maker trips.

Esa es una buena idea. La mayoría tal vez no se animarían, pero definitivamente (Drilling an access hole; then, covering it with a rubber cap) es muy buena idea. Gracias por tu comentario.

do you have to keep resetting the thermostat each time it turns off to get it to power back on? mine trips the power every time and i have to reset the thermostat each time
Hi Shina, sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, there may be a number of things that could be causing it to shut off, but that requires other tests that only a technician can do. Try squeezing the tube (several times along the tube) that brings the hot water to the dispenser. Sometimes it accumulates calcium and does not allow the water to come out, thus, tripping the breaker again.
A bit impatient ha! You can just skip forward. That's the beauty of TH-cam videos. You can skip through the nonsense. Thank you for watching. I hope it helped.

Oh! This worked! My hubby will be proud of me! Thanks!
Glad to be of assistance. Now, make sure you descale your machine so you don't have this problem again.
Yes that is what I was doing when it happened. Lol.
They should created a reset button or made it more accessible since this is a common problem with the machine
They want ppl too buy a new one. 😅🤣
Thank you! it worked they are really expensive to just be something easy

Hi sir, I cant get the screws out from under the rubber feet. Someone said maybe they changed this on purpose. Any help u can give?
You can pull out the rubbers and the screws are under there
@EspiLucero I found them no problem but had trouble removing them. It worked tho.

Yes I agree

Hmm seems like the two screws under the rubber feet have been changed. I guess so people can’t fix it?
I can't get those ones out. 😫
I just got a knife and poked them out or use your screw driver it’s a little hard but they come out
Ok but how do you remove the cover
Thanks alot dude. This is insane that you have to take the whole cover off to reset it. They want you too just buy a new one.....shit heads.....
Indeed
It worked but as soon as I tried to run it, it died again and now it's not resetting at all 😔 what should I do now?
