The heavy stomps, the heavy splashes, the heavy noises, the heavy pressure, the heavy movement, the heavy giants, and the heavy sacrifices, man everything about this fight is 🔥
I really liked how slow and heavy the movements are like there was an enormous amount of force and mass behind every movement and action. The second film took that away which sapped away a lot of the fun.
I'm concerned that's going to be the same thing in Godzilla V Kong. The first movie had weight behind it. The new one looks like they're almost floating.
I think one of the big reasons the momentum in these movies was so impactful is it lends to the anxiety of scenes. The movement of these mechs and creatures is slow and thought out. Any bad move and you have little time to react. It's something they somewhat did with the anime, which I enjoyed. Hopefully we get a sequel someday!

You know, it occurs to me that the very first thing humans would try, once we found that there was a rift with big monsters coming through it, would be to dump so many bombs into that rift that you could ignite a small star with them. And if the enemies kept coming, we'd just bomb it again, and again, and again. It took way too long to have a nice return to sender situation in this war.
Or you know have just a shit ton of battleship grade artillery mounted everywhere. And actual Battleships. Guarantee a battleship round from an Iowa class hits harder than Gipsy Danger's fist.
@@jadedandbitter We need to bring back those WW2 Class Battleships. But with Auto Loaders. (edit : MODERN Auto Loaders) Imagine the Yamato shooting every 8 seconds full broadside.
@@urchinsify the only problem is the range and accuracy is nothing compared to missiles and aircraft. Railguns would make a modern gunboat viable, but the Navy stopped implementing them. But yeah imagine a modern battleship launching rounds the size of a human being at 16,000 meters a second, hitting targets 250 miles away in 6 minutes. Also cool: such ships would be even more resistant to enemy fire than normal battleships because hitting the magazine would not result in an explosion; railgun rounds aren't explosive, the kinetic energy of the impact creates the same effect so explosives aren't needed. So all the rounds would just be large chunks of metal, and could even be stored near the hull of the ship for extra effective armor.
That’s exactly what they tried but in the movie, they state that there was some sort of filter that prevented 2 way travel. It was discovered that it was Kaiju DNA that the rift “read” and allowed passage, which is why the final gambit involved throwing a kaiju into the tunnel first This is why we see them dragging the dead body towards the rift before the last kaiju showed up They dumped the body and tackled the remaining one into the rift, which allowed them to make it through
When Striker Eureka blew up, we can see the ocean coming against Gypsy Danger from the front and once again from the back. Gypsy really got into a storm twice there with a broken right knee and no right arm. She definitely won and stood her ground. TWICE.

Gypsy Danger The Goat Pacific Rim 1 Mecha 💪😤
The way Gipsy and Striker enter the ocean makes them feel like gods marching to war - the final journey to determine the fate of mankind. Either they win this battle, or mankind is doomed to the apocalyptic wrath of the Kaijus.
Godzilla monsterverse should be made like this.
The high-speed elevator turned out great at the very beginning.
Can watch this movie anytime !!
Simply... Magnifik.
Imagine the crossover of this movie and Godzilla&Kong
Yeah, that'd be great, wouldn't it?
No man I think this franchise is good alone
Don't add Godzilla and Kong in here 😂
@@satyjitsinh Why not? I mean, you could have them fighting each other, then have them team up against the evil Kaiju.
@@FrazerEddy I think both movies will loose their charms
@@satyjitsinh Yeah, I don't think so.
Fun fact: After the anchorage secene when gipsy danger's left arm is chopped, they put it a new arm with sword that's why gipsy danger has 2 sword when raiju chopped his right arm with the sword
the left arm has one also to killed scunner.
I can only imagine how Raleigh had to go through the pain of electrocution again. His left arm was permanently weakened from the fight at Anchorage, now this happened to his right arm.
TEAM CHILDHOOD Movie👇
하루 빨리 이런 로봇 좀 만들자😊
my fav part is the bomb evaporating and making a giant air pocket for a few sec
Would love to see Gundam brought to the west with this look. I really think it could work.
Better than uprising lol😂😂
This was the best mecha movie since They've made the mechs realistic
striker eureka is the goat of pacific rim
I feel bad for the son he lost his dad and mom at least he still has his dog
I like Pacific rim so much, I hope some studios make Pacific rim live action movies
We need Evangelion live action with del toro as producer.
