  • In this Part 1. Episode I start checking basic items on my motorcycle to prepare my Honda Goldwing for a long distance 6000 mile Cross Country road trip. I’ve learned over the years that It's better to be proactive than reactive when it comes to performing maintenance on your motorcycle. I’ve always said that motorcycling ain’t cheap but failing to perform basic maintenance on motorcycle can leave you stranded!

Great start Chris. Looking forward to the next few as I myself am getting ready for a cross country tour a little later this summer. I did extensive, and I mean extensive, spring maintenance to get ready. Now the Caliente is going to let me know if there's something I may have missed. BTW - this would have also been a good time to mention tire pressure checks. You went through some/most of the TCLOCS inspections. Great job my friend.

A Caliente Garage Production. Always a comprehensive and deep dive approach. This is why Caliente’s Wings perform, day in and day out. Cause these bikes don’t do a coffee ride and Vlog about it. “Take time to plan or plan to fail”. Now to that wet looking paint on those two bad boyz. Kudos for such meticulously detailed machines. But then I quickly remembered it’s Caliente specializing in G4 classification. Gotta respect that.

tht newer goldwing looks like a snack 🥨❤

Respectfully. I don’t know what snacks you like Aaron. But no snack I ever tasted ever “thrilled the senses” so much for me as the redesigned, cutting-edge looking, lighter, and sporty DCT Gold Wing. Not even close. All generations of Wings are special for numerous reasons for owners. But my 22 DCT airbag is my 3rd since 84, is snappy quick, with seamless shifting and smooth. A game changer. It’s the best snack I’ve ever experienced from a Honda Touring motorcycle. There are many types of snacks to choose from. Thank God we have choices. Peace
