Lol, I threw two frozen burgers into the air fryer the other day, and after a while you could hear the fat 'spitting' inside the fryer ... before i knew it smoke was escaping from the bottom of the air fryer, which then set my smoke alarms off ... which led to a rapid visit from the local fire brigade, lol!
Definitely a night to remember!

Lol this can often happen if the burgers are really cheap fatty ones or most often with lamb ones or vegan ones

What about adding cheese slices for the last minute in cooking time? Or adding onions or bacon would that work? As ive just been gifted a tesco go cook 4L for my bithday so no idea what i cant cook 😂 thanks for sharing.

can you not put kitchen foil at the bottom of the tray to catch all the mess ? inside an air fryer

It moves around too much and also stops the air circulation so slows down the cook time

I use tin foil all the time and it has never moved around and does not affect the circulation whatsoever.
