Breathtaking! These are the visuals I see in my mind when I taste Laphroaig. I close my eyes and having never been to Islay, I can sense it. The air, the salt, the sea, the peat and most definitely, the smoke. I love the fact that I can smell that fire, 10 years later. I'm wondering why I don't have a glass of Laphroaig in my hand right now. I need to log off and fix that!
I visited Laphroaig in April this year, its been on my list of places to visit ever since I was given my first taste at about 14 years old. The tour was excellent, well worth the ticket price. I was with my mother, who has limited mobility and we couldn't have been better looked after, or made to feel more welcome, with assistance at every step. The content of the tour was fascinating, to see malting turned by hand. Oh, and the situation of the distillery, add the tasting too, the scent of salt in the air - its quite magical. Highly recommended!
I travelled to Islay this year and visited all 9 distilleries and I still think Laphroaig is my favourite. The staff were friendly and also gave me an extra taster because I mentioned a sold-out whiskey I liked. It showed they appreciate people who love Laphroaig. We also had a laugh with the man serving at the shop who was getting some bizarre requests from a customer. It was also fun finding my plot of land, but my favourite moment was sitting in front of the bay on my own with a dram looking out to the sea
As I’m watching this, I’m marveling at how blown away I am by the complexity of flavors I found in my very first taste of Laphraoig, which was last night. I’m looking forward to enjoying this whisky for many years. And, if I ever get back to Scotland, I will make plans to visit the distillery. I only wish I’d discovered this years ago.
i have been drinking blended scotch for years, in 2021 i switched to LAPHROAIG, started with SELECT, and now i just tried the 10yrs, i simply love Smokey Islay whiskey flavor. Thank you for the wonderful whiskey!
Laphroaig is inimitable in its flavor! But the extent that we are included in this professional "family" is simply unsurpassed! Thank you for sharing your pride-in-craft and for welcoming us!
Laphroaig has been my favourite whiskey for over 25 years - and this amazing video has really made it real for me. Thank you so much for all the work which went into it and making it available for us. Cheers!! :)
Not for the faint at heart. Many years ago when first tasted, my goodness smell of railroad tie, creosote. My mature palate loves this product. A Scotch for a real scotch lover. Don't change.
I visited this month (Feb 2023), flew over from the US. Incredible tour, worth it just to see the peat burning and the smoke rising to impregnate the barley with the unique flavors this brand in known for.
Tried for the first time a week ago and was taken away. The flavor is unmatched. The effort and care put into the whole process shows with the finished product. Keep up the good work.
Do you please on commission take mine aswell, ( Beware of seagulls, as noticed on your certificate ), as you stand with both feet together on your plot of land
I first tasted Laphroaig in 2007 and became a Friend of Laphroaig then. I've been to Scotland a number of times, but not yet to Isle. It's on my bucket list!
This video is an absolute ripper (Australian term for "very very good" 😁). Excellent videography, really subtle sound-track, and what an awesome narrative. I ALWAYS have at least one bottle of Laphroaig in my cabinet ... sometimes several. For me, Laphroaig was a love at first ... um, well, sniff, sip? Thank you to the team that did this video, and the crew at Laphroaig.
I love the smoky peaty malt whiskies and have added Laphroaig to my cupboard as a firm favourite. Really enjoyed the video - it's beautifully produced and very evocative. I'll definitely have to schedule a visit now...!
Dear friends , Such an impressive and fantastic 3 D video . Proudly presented in great Scottish Akzent..proudly show the world how whisky has to be made … Fantastic
Amazing story, awesome narration, and beautiful visuals! The Scotch itself is beautiful in appearance, peaty, smokey, salty, with stinging bite that you'll grow love and draw comfort in.
I'm with Michael S (in spirit) no pun intended. I really like the "Quarter Cask" - It just adds a touch more 'punch' to the dram. Also liked the video - brought back happy memories of the visit I made with my Son around 10 years ago - from the Scots accent, the sound of the sea and onto the kilns - keep up the great work.
Got my 10 Points! :-) I was always a Bourbon guy (still am), but I have learned to enjoy a good Scotch too. Especially the Islay style with it's smoke and peat flavors.
Beautiful. A great overview of location and process. Enhanced my already high appreciation of your cherished product. Well done, my friends; well done.
I am an avid fan of Laphroaig.. I love the video. I hope to visit this summer and do the Uisge Tour.. Back in 1987, I visited Islay and consumed rather too much of your amber nectar in the hotel bar where I was staying. I can't remember much except that I had a great time.
Lovely! Just impressive and mesmerising! Hope I will be able to get to Islay to visit my Plot, most preferably together with my son, who also is a huge admirer of Laphroaig Whiskys! Slàinte Mhath!
I love all your Whiskys and keep many on the Scotch Whisky shelf in my Tavern. I look forward to touring your Distillery on my next visit to Scotland. Sláinte
Beautifully made presentation of the Laphroaig whiskey making process. It's enough to entice and attract one to taste it and thus be hooked for life, I suppose.
Whit pleasure to see and explore whilst I sip a dram of this Laphroaig. Intense, but no harsh. True, it may gie an impression of burning the brows aff your een, but it's ainly a happy dream!
The best single Malt-Period!!!.

Not sure why I can only like this video once!
Coming back next fall - first visit was 2017 and the 4-hour tour was amazing!! ❤️🥃
I went there in 2017 and did a full tour, including making a bottle. Amazing. It is the best place on earth! I simply love Laphroaig.
My first 360 video tour! That was very cool!
This is one of the coolest 3d video I have ever seen. WOW! Sláinte
Alex Wenzel we totally agree! Beautifully shot by VR City. P.s it's a 360° video, not in 3D :)

Thank you for giving me my first title deed certificate.

The older I am getting, the more I enjoy Laphroaig!
I was in Islay 1st week of August and collected the rent for my Laphroaig Plot that I own. (1-SQFT)
Do you please on commission take mine aswell, ( Beware of seagulls, as noticed on your certificate ), as you stand with both feet together on your plot of land
Can someone explain. I have a sq.ft. as well
I also recently collected my rent. Drank it right up!
Gorgeous landscape . I hope to visit “my property “ some day and collect a wee dram. I love the salty air.

For crying out loud, I already wanted to visit Scotland, Islay and your distillery in particular, but now I NEED it!

Will be be visiting the Distillery in May. can’t wait
Thank you for showing! Long time since I was there.
Superb production. Never been a fan of smoky/peaty malts but Laphroaig select has turned out to prove me wrong.
Beautifully executed, both script and narration. Sometimes promotional material can be art-especially when the product is as well.
this is awesome! enjoying a dram of the Quarter Cask as I watch
Mind bending and chilling. What a fantastic insight to discovering the wonderful Laphroaig distillery. Cannot wait until I can visit one day!
I love the smoky peaty malt whiskies and have added Laphroaig to my cupboard as a firm favourite. Really enjoyed the video - it's beautifully produced and very evocative. I'll definitely have to schedule a visit now...!

Marvellous. I have no practical plan for getting to Islay but if the opportunity ever arises I certainly will.
Wow! Truly breathtaking! I felt as if I was walking in the Islay region for those few moments of video.
