I bought one a few months ago after watching this video. I must admit it's a little expensive, but definitely worth the money. ATB Sam Adler from Vietnam

I'm glad to hear that. They are a little pricey but such a great little shelter tarp. I use it all the time.

I've found the sweet spot for this tarp is the same as a hammock; hang it waist high and go from there.

Waist high seems to give ya more cover. Great tarp , I love this thing. Good vid

Thanks. I carry this thing with me every time I'm out. It's a staple of my haversack and my backpack.

I bet that setup will handle a whole 60F degrees, if it's not windy or raining and you have heavy clothing.

I like the tarp but I think lean two configurations are not to good at protecting you from rain. It would be better with a A frame set up. He should put the ropes in the middle. I have a Paria backpacking tarp. It is pretty good and almost as light.

Good point! They aren't the best at protection unless the rain is falling straight down with no wind. A Frame would be a great one, I'll have to mess around with it in some different configurations. Thank you for the comment.

Thank you for the review, just ordered one online. I take short nature walks, so I don’t need something extreme, and I didn’t want to carry a heavyweight tarp either. Have you used it in the rain?

I have. I've used it in rain and snow and it does great, no leaks. I've added a 7ft piece of shock cord to each of the ends that you stake down now. If allows me to suspend it above me to give me more room underneath it. I'm glad you found the video useful, I bring this thing with me on every hike.

Get a decent rain poncho and carry that.
It’s more functional and less expensive.

It takes longer to put back in the bag than it does to put up!

It does indeed. I'm glad you found it helpful. It's become my favorite tarp.

nice product, but $75 for poncho material with some paracord is nonsense

It's actually xenon fabric, it's extremely durable and has proved to be pretty puncture resistant in my uses. Tis better than poncho material and I like how it compresses down very small.

Significantly lighter and more compressible than poncho material, too. Plus it has several other uses aside from an emergency shelter. Nice as a sun shade or wind screen during a rest on a hike, ground sheet, makeshift poncho, or supplement to your usual shelter components . I agree with other commenters that the lean-to configuration is not always ideal, but this can pretty easily be made into a plough-point shelter, or even an a-frame with some extra prep. I do wish it had more tie out loops, but it is otherwise a great piece of kit. The weight/size to durability to functionality ratios make this more than worth the cost imo, if you are actually going to use it. Full size tarps of the same material go for over 100 bucks, just for comparison.

The T6Zero also makes a great windbreak, so if it's cold outside you can wrap yourself in it to completely cut out the wind and add a little bit of insulatory value.

75.00 really be ashamed of yourself 😢

I'm not ashamed, I bought it for myself and it supported someone who is chasing after their dream rather than supporting a corporation. I've learned a lot from the guy that makes these, so I was happy to support his business. I've also bought a similar cheap one from a big store to compare with and I still prefer the one for $75. I've tested it for a long time now and I'm still impressed with it.

Thank you for showing that it compresses down. That was *exactly* what I needed to know.
