  • Emergency shelters and reviews have been around for a while. Survive Outdoors became presumptuous about a relatively new tarp by Coal Cracker Bushcraft. We are here to correct the record and an honest review of how beneficial this tarp is. Thanks to Dan Wowack. MORE BELOW...

      I think the t6zero is too small. Dan is like 6'5" and he's selling a 7' tarp. I think a little bit bigger would've been perfect!

    Thank You so much for your honest review. I've been debating on buying this since it came out. I have MS so some times I'm "super woman" and 20 minutes later I'm a crippled 95 year old. And now we're recovering from extensive wrist surgery (Superwoman day hunting with my crossbow and the string broke 🙄 that for almost 6 years we thought was just a sprain I kept aggravating). Been through a tornado one already and was not only looking for a more manageable shelter with my current limits but also for day hikes with my Grandson who says he wants to learn about all Oma's "surebible" stuff. I cannot Thank You enough. Your honesty has earned my subscription to this channel. Looking forward to seeing more.

      I’m a 60-year-old grandma with MS, and I have to say this is among my favorite pieces of gear. I usually tie one corner to a tree and stake the other three corners into a plowpoint. It weighs practically nothing, can fit in my pocket, and will last forever. My old, awkward, heavy, loud tarps are a thing of the past.

      Ty for sharing. Yes it is very efficient. Coal cracker did a great job.

      If a second one could be attached to the ridge to make a classic v shape you would have much more protection and still be ultra light.

    Thank you Dan. You have a great channel. That tarp looks great. When I was younger, all I had was a tube tent. Never could get it back in the package. I had back surbery in March. Dang L4 slide forward.. I am fine now. The don't wants me to use trekking poles when hiking. I haven't ha d a han e to buy them yet. I live in Eastern Washington.

    Thanks for this video! Really appreciate your perspective on it, and also your clarity about your changed opinion!
    Question for you if you have the space: how long are those tie-outs? And do you like the length on them?

    • @SurviveOutdoors
      @SurviveOutdoors  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I want to say they are about three feet. It does give the option to add on. I could be a little off on length. Thanks for the comment. Be safe.

    Any chance you could set this up in high wind conditions and let us know how the built-in cords hold up where they attach to the shelter itself? Nice video though. Subbing.
