Styrofoam drain pan. Plastic blower wheels and cages. Bearings screaming from those super cheap motors. Nothing but cheap crap. But two thumbs up on the cleaning. You went way above and beyond. Now they will sheetrock it all back and in 6 months the motors will lock up and they can cut it out again to replace them.
This dude is the 1% HVAC technicians One hell of a job👌
Just amazing how dirty those blower wheels were. Can’t imagine how much extra weight the dirt added to the blower wheels. Great video.
After a hard day I come home put my feet up and watch u doing it hard, Love how you take pride of your work I used to do the same in the 80s, keep the videos coming
whew I'm a helper and volunteered to help clean these at a spa resort. it was an overnight job, about 25 units, tedious work, no sleep, but I needed the experience.
Nice work! I like how you give us a tutorial on how to perform the work. These videos make me like LG more. Those things have taken some abuse in this building for sure.
LG makes good products. I have a 16 year old LG mini split that never had any problem. Last summer was the first time it needed a new capacitor for the indoor unit blower. It kept working, just with very low airflow.
Man this fan coil needs some serious love the right man is on the job 24/7 emergency professional service lol
They definitely do and that's right! Haha thank you my friend!!
Appreciate you 🙏⚡️
2:06 FINALLY!!! Nice to meet you Jumper Man Tech!!!
You got me!! Nice to meet you too my friend! 🔧⚡️
this is a Very good FCU training program
Thank you very much....
Great job, how long was the entire job? You have the patience of a saint
Good job Jumper.
Thank you brother!!
Isn't there a HEPA shop vac that you could use to clean up that area without most of the disassembly?
Too far gone. Maybe after a removal for cleaning.
Great Video. Thank you for sharing. Have a nice weekend
Love your videos just like the last video why are the filters doing nothing?
I would be really concerned about that.
What a block, love the van livery ❤
Yes! Thank you very much! Stay tuned for new videos every week⚡️
Nice work Jumper man. Man that place is a mess.
cleeean dirty work. great work & video. sick van too👏🏼👌🏼🌟
Nice job.... Ready for another 10 years...
This unit just needed some TLC - Great job!
Are you LG trained or registered as a LG excellence contractor? What supply house do you go to for LG VRF parts? There's only a few distributors that actually have parts in stock.
Nothing like a return in the bathroom 🤣
When maintenance requires cutting the ceiling, it was definitely a poorly thought out install. Good work doing all that overhead. After lengthy overhead jobs my shoulders are usually beat.
Good job! how long did that job take from start to finish ?
You are the LG king my friend do you have an LGMV service tool.
not a fan of Styrofoam in HVAC equipment, the cassettes also have Styrofoam, always feel like I'm about to break it😂.. great job bro👍
I always like your content
You’re out here killing the game
I started wheezing as soon as I saw those dust caked blower wheels! UGH!!!
My nose stuffed up just watching this. 😂
taking them down isn't the problem it's putting it back all together is where the fun is lol
Well,, Theres why you have HIGH CURRENT on those compressors!! LOL You need to do a campaign on cleaning ALL of those air handlers!
Great job.
Shout out to Chris. Partner in grime.
Looks like 16hr days for the next 158 days. Once your done you can start over but without removal. 🤣
Great job well done
And what camera and headgear are you using to make these awesome videos?
I would have used shop vac for the left over construction dirt.
Thats a good idea. So much stuff in the ceilings. The ceilings also all need to be cleaned!
You did most of how i would have done tackling a job like this. The two things i do in addition are to vacuum clean the air input side of thf coils with a vacuum cleaner and oil the motor bearings with a syringe with a little lucas oil in it. Ive seen the dust cake into a mat on the coils before so bad it physically peels off in strips 🤢
My only question is how did the filter not stop that!!! Or why not use pleated filters and replace every 6 months like all other commercial/residential equipment? Btw fantastic video as always!
The filters are horrendous they are like a mesh and only stop large pieces going through.
You can just tell that maintenance is a after thought when it comes to building and equipment maintenance. Most owners don't consider the true cost of ownership.
On average how much did this cost the customer in NYC on this unit alone diagnosis and service?
Damn 2013? I just graduated HS lmao Nice work
How are these things getting return air from the space? Is there any return vent in the room or are they just pulling from that void? That could be part of the issue as well, these ducted units are designed to work off of the return air from the space they are conditioning. Nice work as usual brother 👍
The return air is coming from the grille hatch. the filter he pulled out at around 4 mins. is where the return air gets into the fans and coil.
@@mxslick50 Yeah I noticed the return vent now. In the last video which I thought was in the same room it was just an access panel. Strange set up to be getting return air from a bathroom with an exhaust fan right next to it.
Quality 🤙🏼
I have cut ceilings in past to access HVAC major pain then repair the drywall 😮
Cleaning till the cows come home 😂💚💜💚😻
Haha😉 💜⚡️
Weren't bearing still squeeling
Yo 158 you need some help 1099 me lol …
Seriously where do you go for your training and knowledge?
What kind of system was this?
OMG, air comfort restored. Please building maintenance turn off the air handler prior to sanding the new Sheetrock.
NO maintenece since January 2013... 💀💀💀 No wonder the compressors were getting fried. Definitely a dirty job, but someone had to get'r done. ❤
I hope you’re charging the Hell out these customers they are the best service ever 😅
I keep thinking these ain't built well and then I see how stupidly installed and horribly maintained they are and remember that's what the poor "condenser" units on the one roof are probably dealing with.
I guess I would have vacuumed out as much as I could first then moved forward.
No love! Busy grinding lol
Is that location in an apartment or a hotel?
This is a hotel. Thanks for watching!
Let me know when you start hiring I am a junior mechanic
why don't use Vacuum?
Who is going to fix the sheet rock,
In house maintenance team takes care of that
Return air in a bathroom? yikes
Это подшипники так свистят?
Filter looked clean, clearly not fitted properly so all the dirt been sucked directly into the fans. Coil will be just as bad.
They didn't think about how to access the unit in case !!?
They put an access panel but it seems to be only for the control panel and filter. Besides that, you're out of luck😂 Thanks for watching my friend!
@@JumpermanTech wow , that was a great, neat work you done.
@@mansourramzey7711 Thank you very much 🙏 I appreciate that! Have a great day ⚡️
@mansourramzey7711 in NYC this is VERY common. they put these concealed units in and put a 12x12 access panel by the electrical panel THAT'S IT. I cant even tell you how many ceilings I've cut open. it's absolutely ridiculous..lol. they put them in like you'll never have to work on them
i absolutely hate these setups where theres no filter before the blower.
There is a filter there but I don't know how good of a job it was doing 😂 Thanks for watching!
Everywhere poor maintenance
Why not use a vacuum cleaner to get the crap out?
these are some noisy motors
Definitely are. Soon the bearings and motors will all go out. They are all over 10 years old. Only a handful failed over the decade which is pretty impressive considering how bad the condition is of these units. Thanks for watching!
How many room hotel is it? Because all of them need it. Hacks brings you $tacks. Cha ching.
installers that do work like this are the people the burger shop wouldn't hire
