I’m a big batman fan and even bigger Arkham fan. This game was disappointing sure, but it’s not the end of the world. There is nothing disrespectful at all about how the characters or anything was used, there was just so much missed potential.

Them being clones makes the story even worse from a critical pov. The story makes clear that the " clones " don't carry the same weaknesses as the JL members or at least, are more resilient to them.
In short, the " clones " that the Squad killed weren't nerfed versions of the JL members. They were in fact, AUGMENTED versions of the JL.
This game has EVERY REASON I absolutely HATE live service games
i give up on this game. man the arkham games were my whole childhood i started playing asylum when i was 2 and now its just waiting every 8 weeks for a reused boss battle and guns no one cares about
Glad to see them finally confirm that the Arkhamverse JL are still alive. I really hope that we can play as them in the following seasons. That’ll be one of the best things about this entire game.

This game was released with repetitive and lackluster content, mission design, narrative, and gameplay systems all while trying (and failing spectacularly) to profit off of the DC brand and wildly popular Arkhamverse. Their monetization might not be the most egregious in the history of live service looter shooters, but it's still predicated on the battle pass structure which offers players the option to skip the grind of gameplay for more instant gratification. These types of live service games are cash grabs because they CREATE a problem (boring and tedious gameplay progression loops) only to SELL you the solution (virtual currency, loot boxes, XP boosts, season passes, etc.). Suicide Squad KtJL is no exception, hell, it's not an exceptional game. You're better off playing Helldivers 2- at least those developers knew their audience and created a game that catered to them. Rocksteady destroyed their reputation, tarnished their legacy alongside Arkham's by making a game their core fanbase (single-player, narrative, action-adventure game fans) didn't even want. Even Joker wouldn't make a joke this bad. I used to think Rocksteady could do no wrong, but they've become what they've always fought against and they lived long enough to see themselves become the villain. Rocksteady isn't Rocksteady anymore, Suicide Squad KtJL is proof of that.

If you choose Harley before the main story Superman boss battle begins, you will find that the skull ship has recovered Batman's body before the battle. The recycling of The Flash, Green Lantern, and Superman occurs in cutscenes. None of them died, just injured, Brainiac took them back to heal and create infused soldiers. And now they are actually coming back as heros, at S2 we are going get both Flash and Green Lantern, they are now on the skull ship for recover and as science subject. Arkham Deathstroke will be the one to save Kevins Arkham Batman at S4, and Superman will return at S5. After that Arkham Batman will lead both JL and SS to defeat the final Brainiac and end this war. S5 ep2 is called "The end", and that is the end of main story.

First Gojo didn't come back and was turned into a Puppet, Now The JL were confirmed not to be clones and the real ones did all those horrible things, even Arkham Batman.... Fuck
Not one word of dialogue from the four protagonists from this game is lazy. I mean for that we need at least one real cutscene in the first place. I hope the real Batman will be the last playable character who defeats the final Brainiac together with the Suicide Squad. Then I'm fine with seeing this game as canon again.

I notice that these braniac animations are re-used from the previous two fights. Only the dialogue is changed.
It also doesn't make sense that each Braniac is supposed to be from a different universe, but this is the second Braniac who is hanging out on the same Joker-world?
So this cutscene at least confirms that the JL are not completely gone and eill return considering how GL appears at 0:33 with the ring that fell into the water. Plus, in E Jokers imagine spot he has other heroes including the JL which wouldn't make sny sense unless they were not dead

There’s no way they’re doing that. What makes you guys think they’re going to make new bosses when the final boss of the main game was a reskin of the first boss? If they were able to make new bosses, they would have pumped out newer bosses to maintain interest and engagement. Instead they’ve only announced reskinned bosses

It sure was misleading of the devs to put two face and scarecrow faces in the episode advertisement for the season only for them to just be just weopon theme. To be honest I am glad rocksteady didn’t include them in the game so they wouldn’t ruin those chracter like they did with the other chracter. It doesn’t make sense for Brainiac, though - he’s always been depicted as a character who looks for the most logical method of dealing with a problem.
Wouldn’t an army of Supermen be the most effective way of locking down Metropolis?
And moreover, since we’re on the topic, why doesn’t he freeze the Squad in place like he does after they kill Superman again once they resurface?
That would allow him to dispose of, or brainwash, the Squad without the need for the League to begin with.

Да ебать, даже если бы все 13 Брейниаков были в игре изначально, а не были раскиданы по сезонам, то все-равно, это выглядит как просто растягивание игры ради... Инфоповодов, не более. Вообще, уже есть ощущение, что Брейниак тупа собирает боевые данные Отряда, чтобы в конце уже попросту туза в рукаве не было против него. Еще и эти катсцены всратые в стиле комикса. Такие ролики показывайте в DC Universe Online, а у нас тут AAA-проект, который должен придерживаться качеству.

Postcard from "sassy gay best murder friend" Joker at the start... then not much else. *sigh* And I get the feeling this will be the format for the seasons to come, if post-launch content makes it to the year mark: postcard from that season's new playable villain and then "more of the same" gameplay as the base-game, but with less Easter eggs to find and no Riddler whining in your ear. Oh wait, that last one is a good thing.
