@@bimaakhmadi9466 They can literally play Summon Breaker just fine. Its a really good floodgate going first against just about any deck while also being more fair than scythe lock (because y'know, Scythe needs to be banned).

The bo3 vs meta just kinda shows that tear alone doesn't really have a good gameplan vs striker, so you need to rely on mudora, keldo and the bystials to win you games there, which they usually can
And tbf, opening hands won't be going into the striker player's favour like they did here often, besides the game 1 wiff the game 2 hand was also crazy

@@ShadowReignhart Not hard to drop a zeke, as you are often just using the second copy to clear your zones. Also not hard to just drop a kagari or hayate, as games rarely go long enough to use all 3. The extra deck has room for some flexibility.

How did I never notice Raye is literally named Rei
It's a pun on the WWII era A6M0s, commonly nicknamed Zeros, which is called "Rei" in Japanese. A lot of the original spell cards are also named after WWII era planes and Aeronautical terms like Multirole and Afterburners. And Roze is an anagram of Zero as part of the pun, with "Zekes" as another nickname for the Japanese planes from USAF pilots.
Her name is spelled Rei in OCG.

The best part i think about striker as a deck is it rewards skilled pilots and smart meta calls to build the deck around.
It's constantly adapting to new formats, and while it doesnt get many top cut spots (especially at the moment) the few talented players will almost always manage to do well with the deck. The skill ceiling just feels consistantly high, and I'm glad it's getting more support that keeps its identity.

Striker cant really summon it that easily and for whats essentially an unboosted afterburners.
It is certainly better than all the other new support we got tho with the Magis and stuff

What for an FTK?
@@IyoMaestroBeelze activates whenever you take damage, assault blackwinged dragon burns whenever an opponents monster effect is activated. It creates a loop, similar to red eyes flare metal dragon. For the opponent to control beelze, the despia player would use the trap to summon the banished beelze to the opponents field.
@@syn3475 Thank you for explaining what was going on there, I was so confused when he banished his own Beelze and thought he just misclicked or something. Especially since Blackwing player did not have a card to get Beelze onto his opponent's field.

The only reason people are going to play it as a 1 of is because the Striker ED is loose as shit and can fit in whatever it wants lol.
what you guys are missing is thats a generic usable card which could make an insane combination with other future/existing archtypes, meaning you can just use other cards as a starter to get in your sky engine

I like how the new support keeps trying to get the deck to play in different ways from the bog standard, but it really seems like only Linkage giving it an Aggro button and that new Link 2 allowing for greater compatibility with the equally new Chaos cards coming out has done much to change things. If only more than 1 of the 3 new robos was actually decent, I really want a way to make the other 2 work besides Dark Hole spam.

9:57 Does anyone know why they would send the rulkallos there? I feel like hayate being able to resolve can't be that big of a deal since you get to keep the body and then have an omni the for the next turn plus it comes back. The opponent was going to have a hard time no matter what but I feel like hayate sending a striker card to the GY can't matter that much in a gamestate where everything is already in the GY
Hi, I'm a bit late but essentially negating Hayate was his better option since you can Zeke away the Rulkallos thus shutting down the Sulliek before going into Kagari, meaning you could have dump engage with Hayate while having multirole on the field.
Can we get an update on this list with the new cards and list?

What simulator are you using?
One of my all time favorite decks will always be slash draw strikers. Pure Sky Strikers + 3 Advance Draw and 3 Slash Draw. You activate engage as many times as possible to draw through most of your deck over the course of a few turns, using the control power of strikers to keep your opponent in check and stay alive, until you have few enough cards to guarantee a slash draw hit by stacking your deck with advance draw to blow them up out of nowhere. Such a fun deck until they killed engage and slash draw :(

They need to make more in-archetype spells and link monsters for sky striker. Link 3 and 4 sky strikers would be nice, also spells with sky striker condition that can replace hand traps, like how HAMP replaces out of archetype Kaiju.
