Trust in the Lord with all your Heart. And lean not on your own understanding. Acknowledge him in all your ways. And he will direct your path .A good way is to love other people as much as our self's , I just prayed for you .
Yes it's not easy ,but if you fall back in those worldy things don't stop coming back to God because what the enemy wants is for you to be bonded in shame and guilt and turn away from God.
Whatever you're going through, know that God is there for you. All you have to do is reach out to him, and he will accept you with open arms 🙏🙏🙏🙏
I heard someone say something like this once: “lukewarm is something that is supposed to be hot, Christians are supposed to be hot FOR GOD and not kind of hot” this is to say that we should go all out and be hot for God and forget about the pressures of the world

You can also be icy cold, like fresh clear water from a shaded stream bringing a refreshing drink to the souls of others around you.
Actually the word for “Hot” in Hebrew means boiling.
It’s less about the hot side than it is about being stuck in the middle.

As a growing Christian, I realize there is a difference between knowing God and loving God. I was raised in the church and learned many things about God. But, it was when I fell in love with God that my life changed and I was able to resist sin. Keep praying for me as I pray for you all.

When my youngest daughter was little she started setting an extra spot at the table. The first time I asked, "Who is that place for?" Thinking maybe her baby doll because my husband/their dad was working that evening. My daughter said, "That's for Jesus!". So for a long time we set a place for Jesus until one day she grew out of it. I think when we sit for family meals I'll start putting a place for Jesus at our table again. 🍽 ❤

@@sakilecheltenham8017aka. The devil striking you at your most vulnerable places, I too battled the same until I found out who it was. It wasn't me doing it but the evil desires of the flesh. The devil truly is sick because he knows your weaknesses, but let him know his weakness, and that is God, and you shall call unto him and he shall protect you from the devils plans, the devil truly is a sick and slithery loser. He isn't strong at all, he will easily be brought down and his power will crumble when God protects you and has your back, he WILL NEVER leave you, no matter what you do, he will always be their God bless! ❤

I think what’s keeping me from going all in is laziness but also fear, fear of what God will ask me to do but also fear of the sacrifices that I may have to make.
The fear of man.
When people reject me for my beliefs or perspective, it is so easy for me to internalize their rejection and take it personally.
I pray God will rekindle full-out passion for Him within me that focuses my attention on His face, and off of myself and selfish ambition to seek out the approval of people.
God did not give us fear, but power, love and a sound mind.
Stand on your beliefs. Jesus was a warrior, he stood on what he knew and what he was here to do. Ask the Lord to increase your confidence in yourself and what you know. No man can touch the word of God. Love you! You got this! ❤️
The things of this world, laziness, fear, and worry keep me from going all in for God
Remember not through your own strength but His. Ask Him for help, guidance and strength and joy. Talk with Him about those things and what you struggle with and He will help.
I've been struggling with something for months and finally I have given it to Him honestly and now I could not feel more at peace.

It’s good to remember all that Jesus has done for us. Without him we’re done for! He died so that we have a chance to live with God in heaven. There will be none of those temptations there and Jesus can help you in this life if you’re truly ready and willing to live for him. I’m in the same boat as you though. I’m trying more and more to live for him but I’m always worried what people will think of me because of all the persecution I see online. I’ll pray for you man. I want to see the best for you!
You are not alone, you are in a large company of other believers but over time staying in scripture getting closer and closer to God he will grant you boldness, in which you will be able to leave all of these things behind you.

God is good. Today, I saw a post on social media about the verse of lukewarm Christians (Revelation 3:15-16). It scared and discouraged me. I have just recently found my way back to God. So, I prayed to Him about my worries and doubts. Not long after, He led me to this video.

Hi I’m 13 and I think what’s keeping me away from god is laziness and embarrassment and lust but I pray everyday and read the word and try to follow the word and so far I have gotten better
ask God for his Holy Spirit aka The Helper... he will guide you into all truth

Hey Man, I’m in the same boat kinda. I’m 14 and idk if ur struggling the same way still but just remember, all the work and any embarrassment or judgement you undergo is nothing compared to eternity. Also if they make fun of you for your faith they’re not ur real friends. I mean I got friends like that but we’ve kinda established that they’re gonna have to put up with it or idk leave ig. Just keep going and remember our teenage years are such a small part of our lives that we don’t need to spend it on people or things that aren’t glorifying to God.
What’s keeping me is laziness,Bad language,Masturbation,overthinking,doubt,distraction,anger. What you described are the 7 deadly sins, please learn about them and the opposite virtues you need to gain . On earth we have to work hard to gain a seat in heaven, if you die tomorrow where will you go? I suggest Watch the video about Ryan cook’s visit to hell
@@TheBandoury Forgive me if I'm misunderstanding your comment, but please know that our works (while important) are *not* what get us into heaven. Faith in The Lord Jesus Christ is what get us into heaven, but *genuine faith produces good works.* As long as someone is genuinely repentant and faithful they will go to heaven.

When I say hard work is the work we do to overcome slavery to our flesh and the worldly pleasure. how do you do that, we avoid the 7 deadly sins, and work on gaining the virtues with God's grace. 1- Pride --> humility .2- Lust ---> chastity. 3- Greed --> generosity. 4- Gluttony ---> Temperance. 5- Envy ---> Kindness . 6- Anger --> meekness . 7- Sloth --> diligence. also Jesus want us to take care of the weak and needy. who else founded all those hospitals, schools, orphanages, and tended to war victims from starting of Christianity? people saw that Christians are helpful and loving so they wanted to join Christianity. ... also see Matthew 23:3 "Therefore, you MUST take care to DO everything they say. But don’t do what they do". Jesus wants us to have faith and to DO as well. where the Pharisees only said what must be done, but never done them.
Here is one of thing that will help us all more. Spend time in deep prayer daily. Meaning be sincere and pray from the heart not out of duty or ritual. Express fear, sin, pride, lust, etc. Jesus said when you pray… So he expects us to communicate with him daily. We are to spend intimate time with him. Prayers need to have an objective so write down the things to focus on in prayer so it’s not aimless rambling. Here’s a quote from an early Christian, “my life is one continuous prayer.” In other words stay in communication with Jesus.
The thing holding me back has got to be fear. Fear that I won’t be good enough, that I won’t be able to be consistent or be genuine. God is working on me to break away that fear!

Tv, phone, social media, worldly music, worldly friends, certain family members, studying the scriptures, fasting, praying, soul winning, bus ministry, prison ministry, convalecent home ministry, teach a Sunday school class, stay busy in the ministry, no time for sin cause you are always busy serving God. 👃👃👃
Have you forgotten who Jesus spent His time ministering to? Avoiding stuff wont make you a better Christian. Isolating yourself from the sinners of the world won't make you a stronger Christian. Stand firm IN Jesus, hold fast to Him and you can withstand temptation and be a witness to those you say we should remove from our lives.

@@ellena1838 Depends on what you are busy in. One of the most busy people are people in the ministry. When you serve people in the ministry, it's 24/7 service.
There's funeral, weddings, baptism etc. When the church has a Christian school and a Bible college, bus ministry, prison ministry, military ministry and many other ministries within the ministries it gets very busy. When you are serving in the ministries, you have to do different jobs daily. Pastor, preach, teach, janitorial, gardener, mechanic, bus driver, visitations, soul winning and etc.
Staying busy in the ministry is a good thing. I'm pretty sure the devil doesn't like it when people are busy in ministries.
Definitely true. But what I mean is that even in ministry you can be very busy about God, but at the same time very distant from God with your heart. So being busy is not necessarily good, whether in ministry or not.
The one thing keeping me from going all in is constantly my pride! When I wake up each day, I must lay down my life and take the life Jesus has given me. Sometimes I wake up and I do not submit.. i begin to get a chip on my shoulder and it only goes downhill from there. I must wake up each day and sometime multiple times a day I need to get on my knees and submit! It’s freeing yet my flesh keeps me from doing it. Praise God for His continuous forgiveness and patience.

I have fallen deeply into greed, pursuit of money and worldly things and lust. I caved into the overwhelming temptations rife in the world. As a teenager, it is and has been difficult for me to evade all of the temptations. GOD HELP ME! I am writing this to give myself accountability and do away with my old identity and immerse myself in the identity that LORD JESUS gives me as a repented sinner, in JESUS NAME. Thank you for the video.
Things that are keeping me from God that I wish to no longer have:
Shame, laziness, lust, greed, how I treat others/careless words that come out of my mouth
I haven't even told God sorry yet. For being lukewarm, for not doing His will. And this video pops up right before i can 🤧. He was already trying to help me, that's amazing 😇. Thank you ❤

I couldn't have heard this at a better time. This past week I realized and confessed to myself that what is keeping me from going all in with God is my addiction to Marijuana. I know people might read this and say it can't be a addiction. It has kept me from truly getting close to God. Been battling with this for years I get better go months without and and I fall back into my sin and turn to drugs. I get high and at that moment I still don't even feel satisfaction. I feel empty still and alone. Lord I need you forgive me for putting other things in place of your love and wisdom. I need help and confessing my sins and weaknesses has helped me. I have never said it out loud but I want everyone to know that I am weak and I need my Father Jesus Christ to lift me and renew my mind and heart to be like his.
Brother, knowing there's a problem is one step closer to solving it and the fact your honest with yourself is all the more better. We all fall short to the glory of God. My only advise and it may sound kinda odd, but stop trying to stop. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. Put it in God's hands and let him take you ❤ God bless.
I’m in the same boat my friend. I battle temptations all the time. I quit smoking for months then I start thinking I’m good and can control it but eventually it turns back into everyday all day 24/7 until I do it over again. I actually like being sober, everything is so much sharper and clearer but something always pulls me back

I think I just have a bad habbit of taking things too easy. I try to serve God, but I also seem to enjoy serving the world. That's what's been stopping me from going all in.

From your message, I can tell you have a heart that wants God and that wants to seek and pursue Him - I also want to encourage you that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion, He is still working on you and in you, because He’s faithful in His commitment us 😊 but not just to “us”, but to you personally, because He loves you and has called you by name to be His child through Jesus Christ. As someone who has backslid and is struggling to get back with Jesus, I understand the pain that can come when we feel lost and have to battle the lies He has left us. This can be hard, because all you want is Him, but similarly, I want to tell you that He has never left and you and wants to keep having that relationship with you still right now, and that desire to want to want Him comes from God.
in His Word He has made you a promise which says, “I will never leave you or forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5). Our sin separates us from God, not our feelings, by that I mean our feelings can lie to us and tell us things that aren’t true (which is why, were encouraged to walk by faith and not by sight, walking according to what Gods Word says in true and not our feelings, because our feelings will change and lie to us, but Jesus Christ is the same yesterday today and forever), our feelings will make us “feel” condemned at times even if we have asked for forgiveness and have turned away from that sin and put our trust in Jesus death covering that sin, and though our feelings may say something contrary to feeling forgiven, God promises if we do (repent and believe)we’ll find forgiveness. (1 John 3:20) some lies I can believe are, “ God has left me”, whereas the truth is He will never leave me or forsake me. Or, “ I’ve sinned and God can’t forgive me”, but His Word says if we confess our sins and turn away from our sin and believe in what Jesus did as being the payment to cover our sin, He WILL forgive us🩷 . So we have to turn from our sin, believe that Jesus has covered that sin and also accept His forgiveness and walk with Him, He wants to walk with you and help you overcome anything you might be struggling with. God is for you and not against you in Christ🩷

Everywhere Muslims go, poverty, disrespect for life, children & women is prevalent, & chaos is spread. Thighing is prevalent & performed by grown men on toddlers, both male and female. My wife and I got baptized back in Augst of 2023, I'm always worried about becoming "Lukewarm", I never want to be like that for the Lord. He has been utilizing me in our church for worship, and soon to be soundbooth and live streams for our church. I have much , much to learn in my walk of faith, but this has been the most amazing experience of my life. I love the Lord, and we are blessed, but I realized my shortsidedness, I need to read my Bible more, and pray more than I already do. Thanks for the video man. God bless you.

What’s keeping me from going all in, is a sexual sin, it’s taken over my life. As I grow closer to Jesus it pops up, in my thoughts, my actions and on my computer. Mom leaves the house, my mind switches to this sin. Every time I do it, I feel an overwhelming sense of guilt when I’m finished.I’m ashamed of it, I want to get closer to Jesus. But this last hurdle keeps me from doing so.
For me, what's keeping me from going all in is my laziness, lack of motivation, gluttony, worry, and how I sin with the world. I pray that I can fix these habits as I get older 🙏 ❤

But take heart, because God is rich and endless in mercy, he won’t turn his face from you if you genuinely come to him with a broken and contrite (meaning genuine/serious) heart. The Lord loves those who diligently seek him. This doesn’t mean we look for him when we need something or a feeling, or forgiveness. He wants all of us, all the good and all the bad. Give him what you have and trust his process friend ❤️ you can never be perfect on your own, let alone as a Christian, but when you follow Jesus and realize how much he suffered to buy your forgiveness, you’ll have the heart and motivation you need to turn away from sin ❤️ God bless you buddy

What's keeping me is being attached to the things of the world, lust, and an element of laziness in terms of strengthening my relationship with God (not being asked to pick up my bible and read, instead going on my phone which won't help me in any way). Sometimes i find it so difficult because of school and teenage pressures but I'm giving it all to God to help me to overcome my faults, not by my will, but his🙌

I've started my walk with God in more recent times and I will say it's been quite the journey. Im building my faith more and more as I gain a more intimate relationship with Him but I know there's more I can be doing. I allow my flesh to hinder me most days but I pray for forgiveness and try to understand that God loves me unconditionally. I know I personally struggle with lust, greed, pride, allowing the enemy to get in my head, lack of patience, striving to be financially free, idolatry of my phone, cars, music etc. It’s hard being almost 20 yrs old in today’s world but Christ won’t allow me to fail! Very happy to see the growth in my life but still got a long ways to go. Nonetheless it’s a process/journey and i’m grateful I get to do it alongside my Father, Savior, Lord and Shepherd!
whats keeping me is my worldly friendships/music, & adult content. But, i'm ready to give it all to christ and let him heal me of these things which i already am because God said that he already freed us of our sins but we just have to believe that he did.

I’m scared of change. I’m scared to give up the life I’ve known and give up my own will. But I know I need to give it to God and abandon all the parts of me so that God can break me down and make me new again. I just have a hard time getting rid of the worldly things I enjoy like secular music, gaming, my wardrobe,..I know none of these things will matter in the eternal life but my flesh can’t seem to let go. I also have some bad habits like swearing and vaping that I’m trying to quit but I can only take those things one day at a time, it does make me feel guilty though. God had been good to me, I just ask him for the strength to move on with my life and give myself to him.

When things go well, I become complacent and God becomes an afterthought. But when things go poorly, I'm so focused on trying to fix them that I don't make time for God. What I need is to rely on Him daily and not be swayed by the highs and lows of life. I need to put my trust in Him and never forget Him, regardless of my circumstances.

You are so correct about this, ive been trying to be on fire for the lord but ive been lukewarm instead, i need to do better in my worship of him

God said in Quran about Jesus (peace be upon him ):

What's stopping me from going all in is my community, i feel like I rot whenever I'm around them, I feel it's because I fear their opinion.
Whenever I'm at home and I try to read my Bible and when a family member comes in, I always close it and act like I'm doing something else.
I don't 100% agree with their denomination and im afraid to admit it. And I want to tell them what I think, I know God wants me to do that but Im deadly terrified, it's like I can't have faith.
God will sustain you in all all things Philippians 3:14. You’re family members might be mad but in the future you’re words may be the reason you turn to the Lord.

I can somehow relate to you my family members are Muslims and I'm following Jesus secretly, sometimes I'm just tired of the way im hiding I pray in Jesus name that one day I'll be bold and not be afraid of what will happen to me

Fear is what's keeping me from going all in.
The FOMO, not being able to do what I want, not trusting God’s plan for my life, thinking my ways are better, don’t want to lose any relationships and so much more. I want to live for God fully but it’s so hard when you have no idea how his plan for your life is going to go. What if you don’t like his plan? What if he doesn’t give me the desires of my heart because they are not in alignment to his will? So many questions but not enough answers.
My doubt. I believe in him. I genuinely know its him or death. I know in my heart i only want him and anything else is destruction. However i overthink which causes doubt and fear that ultimately leads to lack of faith and thats troublesome. Ima keep pushing though. Praying for evryone in the comment section. Yall got this ❤
I came across your comment and I just wanted to say you are not alone, my friend. I am feeling the exact same way. What we can do is keep talking to Jesus. Never stop opening up to Him. Never stop asking for help, because He is faithful and True and He is ready to help. It may not be in the way we THINK we should be helped, but He knows exactly what we need even more than we do ourselves. He will lift you up out of your doubt, He will put love in your heart and life in your body. He has you. He won’t forsake you nor forget you. I believe in that. You believe in that. You are going to make it, my friend. I promise you that.

I was heavy into pain medicine for many years Now I’m older and I need some pain medication and I struggle daily if I’m still in God’s good graces Please help 😢
My friend, you are surely still under God’s grace! Jesus died on the cross for us knowing EVERYTHING we would ever do. His love covers multitudes of sins, and it is more than enough to cover all the sins of the world-as many as there could and will ever be-so your sins are surely forgiven.
As for the pain medicine now, just make sure you know where it stands in your life. The medication is not your god; Jesus is! Reverence Jesus, and have no fear of addiction. The Holy Spirit will stay your heart and mind in Jesus and His love and freeing power so that you will not renter the bondage of your youth. You can make it and KNOW that God loves you no matter what!
My big struggle has been pornography, and really a consistent drive for stimulation, whether that be my mind or body. Reading the Word doesn’t give my brain the dopamine that it seeks all the time, but my spirit REJOICES when I listen to the Lord in the Bible and when I see others come to Christ or talk about Him well.
Though I struggle now, God still loves me, even though no one deserves His love, and especially not me. He’s too good! Don’t doubt His grace. Keep your head up and walk in His light so that your joy and peace will remain, and others will be inspired to love Jesus in these last days. God bless you!

It’s not about being in God’s good graces because none of us are good on our own and none of us deserve God’s love and grace. It’s about surrendering everything to God so He can help you through it. Put it in His hands. If you give your life to Him He will bring you from death to life, and if you give these struggles to Him completely and constantly then he will bring you out of addiction or anything else too💗
Many years ago I was very bold and always. Would testify for and about the Lord. As time went on i was beat down into submission. I was in a lot of places I never should have been or seen. Satan the deceiver got his way. I love the Lord and I'm walking closer to Him than in years gone by. If anyone reads this pray that I will open my mouth with boldness and testify for Jesus !
My ego, ignorance, and desire to fit in with the world is what is holding me back from going all in.
What's keeping me is the things of this world. I shall be reborn, this time in the name of Jesus and our almighty God.
