I have pretty much left the settings as they were out of the box. However, i do shoot using the “vlog” mode. Which helps keeps everything simply in focus. Big improvement over the #g7xmarkii
I have to say… the Neewer wide angle lens really does make all the difference. I feel it’s gives me the feel and quality of a dslr with a high quality lens at a fraction of the cost. The size is also very, very manageable. I find myself using it all the time. Thanks for the question? Don’t forget to like and subscribe!
Sadly, there isn’t any 3rd party lens for this nor is it made for lens. What I have here is a 3rd party attachment that’s acts as a wide angle lens. Great accessory, but not an actual lens.
Great question! I have never really used the ring since I shoot exclusively in video on it. Without confirming it, i believe you would not lose use since the ring still freely moves with the lens on there. I’ll have to try and get back to you.
I use a variety of mics for my mark iii. Mostly my Rode wireless Go ii’s, my rode micro and a couple of Lavalier mics that plug directly in. However, the reason i got the mark iii is because the mark ii had no external mic option. In theory you could use one of These mics with something like a zoom recorder and sync the audio later via an editing program, but that’s lot of movie parts. rode.com/en-us/microphones/wireless/wirelessgoii rode.com/en-us/microphones/on-camera/videomic-go-ii zoomcorp.com/en/jp/handy-recorders/handheld-recorders/h1n-handy-recorder/
Great video! The Spiderman reference really helped!!!
As they say. Go with what you know… I know comics.
Nice video, can you share the mode and camera settings you use?

Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it and hoped it helped. Don’t forget to subscribe if you haven’t already!
hello, can you add other lens as well? like a telephoto or something to maximize the zoom?

Do you lose use of the front ring?

Great info, thanks for the reply.
Hi where did you get your mic from for the g7x iii and can it be fitted on the mark ii .

love the video! would you still recommend it on a g7x mark ii after months of having it? :)
I would. I also would add the caveat of it really does work better on the #g7xmarkiii- but the pros outweigh the cons for #g7xmarkii.
