My dad was an LZ hater in the 70s . One day he walked past my room while this intro was blaring through my 8 track. He stopped , turned around , and commented on the beauty of the guitar playing . As a 14 year old ….I enjoyed the look of horror on Pop’s face when he learned that it was the mighty influencer and mind shaper James Page ….He thought I was listening to one of his Jose Feliciano tapes ! Thanks for all

I'm in San Antonio, Texas. My dream concert was Led Zeppelin 1977 The Summit Houston, Texas. But I don't have to dream about it, I was there. I worked Concert Security and I was stationed right in front of Jimmy Page between the stage and the barricade. Closer than the Front row for the entire show, 4' - 15' from Jimmy Page and all of historic guitars. The live concert audio is on TH-cam. They had both huge video screens on but I haven't found a video of the show yet. I was a musician and I was 4 months from being 18 years old but I told them I was 18 and got to work security for most of the concerts that came through Houston in 1977-78. Like they say, "I might be old but I got to see all the good bands!"

Today is 3/1/24 This is the first time that I seen you on the tube. I'm 68 and these songs bring back a lot of great memories, my first concert was Grand Funk Railroad I really enjoyed it.Seeing you made me get my guitar out I didn't realize I had forgotten how to play. Watching you are better than having your on teacher. Thank you so much for the way that you teach that really helps me, and I'm so glad that you keep playing over and over until the song is right . I just love watching you you are funny and have a great sense of humor just keep on the same way that your are doing, may GOD BLESS you!!!!!!!!

Why has this chick only 45k subscribers she is unreal teacher one of the best I seen in TH-cam yet . most people fly through the lessons ! This lady takes the time to show you properly and gives you time to obsorb the information,, you got to get it in your head first the finger s will follow 😀anyway great tutorial and If I had to go back in time to see anyone it would have to be jimmy hendrix I no it’s a cliché but he was so magic , it wouldn’t matter which show , but I would of loved to here him play acoustic live 🙏🙏anyway thanks and cheers from Ireland 🇮🇪 I’ll have you on my bell so I get your new videos thanks so much Angela …Brian

Hello Arnold from the Netherlands. My really favorite concert was one from John Denver in Amsterdam. Somewere in the seventies. I had a few albums of Denver. Now I heard him live singing in Amsterdam. With an unbelievable voice as clear and on tune as on his album. UNBELIEVABLE!. And till the end of the concert. It looks like he did it with no efforts at all to stay in tune. I will never forget!

Good morning Ms Petrilli, I’m from Cajun Country S. La. If I could go back in time the concert I’d love to see is Credence Clearwater Revival (CCR) at the height of their time together!!
I’ve been playing guitar for a long time, mostly as a rhythm guitar player but since I found your channel on TH-cam I’m learning ONE song every 2 days. Yesterday I learned “Wild Horses”, before then I learned a few Neil Young tunes! I love the way you teach. What you can’t play slow you can’t play fast!!

I’ve always wanted to learn how to play OTHAFA correctly. I’ve always tended to skip over some notes and never had it right and got frustrated. Thank you, Angie! I’m a follower. Btw, my favorite concert was Led Zep at MSG in Feb 75. Will never forget…right before entering the military. It was an awesome concert. Managed to sneak up to the front in the aisle for the last half. It was a mini-party in the aisle. Unforgettable.

Been trying to master this song over the years. The 3rd part has always been tricky.
Dream Concert? Rolling Stone '69 or '72. Parliament-Funkadelic
1976 (Glen Goins). Butterfield Blues Band East West Era. I did get to see the Black Crowes in 1993 and I don't care what anyone says. They were top notch. Also got to see James Williamson with Iggy and the Stooges in 2010. Wish I could have seen Bobby Womack. Too many to list.

OTHAFA was the first "hard" song I learned when I first started playing (this and "Spirit of the Radio" by Rush), so thanks for helping others learn it. Love that you do these vérité and include your goofs, rather than editing the heck out of it.
I SAW my dream show, opening night of U2's original Joshua Tree tour in Tempe, Arizona, 1987, when I witnessed an earnest quartet of young Irish lads suddenly realize they weren't just in a band, but that they were going to be the biggest band in the world -- and completely embrace it. Spectacular.

    No question.
1968, small intimate crowd, elvis presley in tight keather, on guitar, dripping with raw soul, rockabilly, rock n roll. Pure dynamite.
    Ends show with
    If I can dream.
One of the greatest things ever recurded.

I learned the "wrong", but efficient way to play this, long ago, but really, the pace is so quick, that the extra effort is lost. The choppy feel, that's just right, is the goal.
Back then when all this came out, all my friends who played guitar, were working on "Mood For A Day", and the ending acoustic from "The Ancient" both by Yes.
Clap, of course, was the Magnum Opus of hybrid picking goodness, that never gets old. Thanks Angela, Your enthusiasm alone, would make everyone want to PLAY.

Great Lesson, Angela! Been playing since I was 14 (56 now) and never really learned this song. I would pick it out and practice the first couple of riffs but that was it. Loved how this lesson flows.
Hailing from Meridian, Idaho by way of San Diego, and by way of Dallas, Texas.
The concert I'd love to go back to was the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame concert/show in 2004 when George Harrison, Prince, ZZ Top, Jackson Browne, Traffic, and some doo-wop group I don't recall called the Dells were inducted into the R&RHF. Jeff Lynn, Tom Petty, George's son, Dhani, Steve Winwood and Mark Mann are up on stage playing George's While My Guitar Gently Weeps, and the late and great Prince comes more into view from side stage about 4 minutes into the song to take over on solo and blows everybody's mind. I watch the video over and over and would give anything to be in the crowd during this moment. It is truly one of the greatest moments in R&R history. All that talent on stage at one time. I've seen Prince in concert 3 or 4 times. I'd trade them all just for this once in a life time song tribute.

Btw.. tuning in to you from Jamestown, NY. Every video of yours that I have watched is full of things I am learning. Even some songs that I "thought " I knew were fine tuned with your help. Ok...I'm done rambling. Ty for the videos

Beautifully done and you certainly make it seem like you don't have to be a code breaker with Paige. Not an easy task. Thank you for another great lesson.

From Chardon, OH, kinda knew the beginning of this, but not the whole song. Looking forward to learning it through you. Favorite concert, probably Pink Floyd.

Tuning in from Florida, again. My dream concert or performance that I wish I could go back in time to see is: The Beatles at the Top 10 Club in Hamburg, Germany during the spring of 1961. That would be the original line-up of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Stuart Sutcliffe and Pete Best.
