  • How to remove gel polish at home without an e-file
    1. File the gel polish using a 100/180 grit nail file.
Leave a thin layer of gel on the nail
    2. Soak a cotton ball with pure acetone and completely cover the nail.
Wrap nail with aluminum foil for 10-15 minutes
    3. Remove gel polish. It should flake off the nail
    4. Apply cuticle oil. Acetone is extremely trying.

Ok thank you for your help I was rubbing the cotton ball and nothing came off but leaving it in for 20 minutes should help a big deal I also use gel polish and it’s definitely long lasting

You can use oil you cook with: olive oil and avocado oil work really well! You can also try a hair oil if you have that. If you afford it you can purchase pure jojoba oil. That will last you for a long time because you just need a little bit.

Did you oil your nails as well as the cuticles with the serum ?

    • @TeriWellsNails

Yes! I apply the oil to my nails because it helps with flexibility so they don’t break as easily.
