FYI, to those that don't know - Patrick hasn't seen any of the making of these levels (including the first one he finished). So he doesn't know how much was Dan's decision and how much was random things from the chat - hence why he is trying to predict via Dan's design strategies.
I think the crew misjudge how hard that pow block section actually is. It's one of those things that you can either do or you can't. I've tried that level a number of times and have never passed that part. I just can't go from jumping to dropping that thing, doing a small hop jump then hit up as it rides down.
"For the most part he's just misinterpreting things. Unintentional misdirection." Is the truest statement about patrick's mario maker mornings. I like watching it a lot but man I go crazy watching him over think stuff sometimes.
