I like dlc for dlc, BUT I'm talking old packs, more stuff for cats and dogs, new get to work objects etc. but I don't want a 2nd my first pet stuff that instantly releases after the EP and has the rest of a set, finish the pack, don't split a set on two
That would be listening to parents. Listening to the community is tricky. Still too much "they don't listen to us" but I feel like it's a way to argue the person doesn't like the specific pack and/ or they're not getting what they want. Like I could say I don't like Lovestruck (I actually do) because I want more science and technology gameplay.
The topography opinion is so real! I hate trying to create and build on hills because of the way it's stuck inside a lot space and everything outside is flat. My current house is on a hill and I can't accurately replicate that in the game without either creating a ditch or creating a super abrupt awkward hill. It would just be nice to have naturally hilly lots to work with.
That and the terrain does really weird things when it hits building foundations. I live in a mountainous area, it’s completely normal to me for the front yard and backyard to be two different floors. Why can we still not do this in sims? 😞
I would love Bands but you know what else I want??? The rest of the flippin' orchestra! I want a cello and a double bass, please??? Jazz instruments like sax and trombones. Just give me a symphony orchestra and I'll be happy!
I would think "bands" would be a catch-all for a system that allows Sims to play music together. Rather that's a jam session in the garage for fun between a couple sims or an orchestra or a rock band it would all be the same mechanic. Two Sims of a certain musical skill would just sync up and perform the same thing together. The arrangements would be on the player.
Totally agree with the other commenter, just have all the instruments sync up to the same song - tadaa! Bands. Done. A band. And I agree w you my teen is an OBOE PLAYER she was born an OBOE PLAYER she screams OBOE, Sims, where is my oboe!!!!
I disagree we need more worlds at all...at least not anymore EA made worlds, I think most people's games are overloaded with worlds they litterally never play in. We need a world creation tool and the ability to share worlds. That way people can have a selection of worlds they actually use that represent whatever they want. We need Create-A-World and Share-A-World.
100% agree. Many of the recent worlds have been flops for me - so pretty, but so lifeless. I just forced myself to replay San sequoia and I lasted two sim weeks... A world editor/builder would be incredible. That would be BEYOND game changing for me.
When it comes to them “listening” to the community… they’ve done so very well. I just think that it’s (probably) hard for them to find the majority opinion because this shifts so frequently.
12:56 i miss making beds so much, it’s not even that deep but i’ve been searching for a mod that adds that FOR SO LONG NOW (but i do get it would be so much work to keep it updated since we get like 10 beds in every new expansion packs😂)
My unpopular opinion is this: EA/Maxis and the Sims community need to each select a handful of delegates to meet in a board room, sit and chat for a few sessions over the course of a few days, and come to a mutual agreement on what should constitute an Expansion Pack, a Game Pack, and a Stuff Pack. These days it feels completely arbitrary.
Video idea here mollie, You should make a video on. 1 thing (or a couple, but 1 big one could be more impactful) every pack should have or should have been added to it. Eg. Growing together, video cameras.
Yes to open neighbourhoods instead of open worlds! No to height sliders. I want expansion packs with loads of content and no world. Not all the eps need a world, I’m drowning in worlds. I want to be able to disable worlds for a save. I need more diversity in the hobby objects. More pianos and guitars etc . Plus obviously more kinds of hobby items. I need another big swatch update for bb. I need full sofa/loveseat/armchair sets as well as side table/dresser/desk sets. I need more items to match! I’m fine without cars. I used to like fixing up cars and having an actually purposeful garage though. The driving part I don’t care about. I like the driving/car system just the sims 2.
- I do wish we had military/boarding school because I find playing children in Sims 4 to be very boring. - I like the closed worlds now that I'm used to them. - The main thing I miss from Sims 3 is a color wheel. I love building but hate when wood or whatnot doesn't match and it really limits how I can build. - No interest in cars at all. Though I did have the car pack for sims 3 because I loved the vintage cars. - I do miss typography. I loved building cliffside houses in Sims 3. I also miss being able to add/move lots. - I am fine with how many lots we have, I just wish we had more bigger lots. Most of them seem to be 20x30 which is okay for a small home, but not for a farm, mansion, community lots, etc - I kind of miss the old sims store where you could buy just one item, or just a world, instead of having to buy an entire pack. There are packs where there is an item or two I really wanted but not enough to buy the entire pack.
I don't think EA is thinking about minimum wage and adequately pricing the game. In Brazil the minimum wage is R$1.412 monthly (our currency of course haha) and an expansion pack is R$138, lovestruck came out priced R$179. Like how is that fair?? Not even on sale they are worth the price.
Youre absolutely correct. That is cooked. I thought we had it bad here in Australia with the price increase, but I did the math - in brazil it costs 13% of the minimum monthly wage. In the US it costs 3% of min monthly wage. In aus it's 1.7% 😂 whoops, i shouldn't complain lol. When we go by median/average wage per country, lovestruck is 0.6% of an Americans monthly salary, 1.3% for Australians, and 6% for Brazilians. You're right - it's completely unfair and ridiculous.
I agree about the cars! I didn't care for a long time but seeing the video comparing Sims 2 and Sims 4 animations, including the school bus and pizza delivery, made me remember how immersive those are. Also, I agree they're good as a hobby even with loading screens. I also want Open Neighborhoods with no loading screens between houses but I don't want Open World in Sims 4 and future iterations even if that could still be a dream come true one day. It's just not feasible with wandering NPCs the way the Sims handles it IMHO. I remember those empty venues in Sims 3 plus the various glitches from Sims and animals getting trapped in accidental world gaps which COULD crash the game. I assumed we'd get cars before horses in Sims 4 and I was pleasantly surprised to see horses first (after I'd given up on them), so I'm not against cars now although I also hope Sims 4 wouldn't automatically generate them for Sims so their inventories begin to fill behind the scenes, ala Sims 3 or the NAPS in Sims 4 Eco Living lol. Maybe the devs could add faux limousines for wealthy Sims? And a few basic car types for ride shares, which, instead of giving them to the Sim and stuffing their inventories ala the future cubes, perhaps nothing in the inventory of an NPC while the routine animation simply starts on the road at that spot. IDK. lol maybe also a helicopter! For fun and a call-back to the Sims 3 opening animation. In fact, what I think we really need is a transportation pack so we can have a variety of cars, motorcycles, and maybe more bikes (with the ability to maintain them) and ALSO bus stops for faster fast travel on community lots. They could function as a spawn point similar to the elevator (I guess in that case it'd work best with the Semi-Open Neighborhoods we currently have since Elevators are restricted), and city buses going up and down the roads, pretending to run down Sims stargazing in its path lol. Also subway/train stations that function like the bus stops and could help the Sims get around large neighborhoods in city backdrops a little bit easier if the Sim doesn't have a bike or a horse. A train station in Mt. Komorebi for getting up the mountain I think! We have the subway in San Myshuno but we could use it elsewhere too and creating versions of these things that can be placed on community lots means it might feel more accessible across all worlds. Something that feels more relatable than just appearing or vanishing at an arbitrary point. This might be better implemented in a new version of the game but I agree Sims 4 could have cars that can be built and upgraded with handiness skill. That's what I think a lot of people asking for cars want the most and that was in Sims 2. Sims could sell them, just have them as a hobby, and/or something expensive and decorative to put in the yard and all of those many, many fake garages. Plus garage bands lol. It's just unfortunate that a lot of Sim houses don't really connect with the streets but I'd be willing to forgive that somewhat if they'd just give us these options. Also, I think this would be serviceable as a Stuff Pack but if it was super bare bones, could also have a Public Transportation Game Kit separate from a Car Game Kit (or if they both need to be Build/Buy only then I guess it just builds handiness skill so it functions like the workbench but adds flavor) in case some people want the spawn points but don't care about decorative cars.
Sims 4 should have committed to a walkable city aesthetic, with public transit options between the neighborhoods no cars on the streets. Then the no cars becomes a meaningful decision.
I actually would be down to pay for DLC for DLC, the problem with MFPS is that it came out like right after Cats &Dogs with furniture and cas sets that matched the Cats & Dogs stuff. I would love to see pets expanded on the right way! I would pay money for a cats & Dogs refresh at this point. It sucks that once a pack comes out there is no opportunity to expand on it again. Like pigs? There is no what those wills find their way into the game at this rate
A farm animals stuff pack could technically just be add on animals for you to do with what you wish. Yeah we'd get the 'shoulda been a part of' usual rant, but I don't see why it couldn't be done. Heck you COULD build a farm in worlds besides cottage living and Horse Ranch. I also think Sims 4 packs suffer from being too super hyper specific anyway. There was an ice cream truck in the Sims 3 pets packs, why, just cause they wanted. Ha Fun random stuff like that isn't done anymore. Like think about if they had thought out of the box for dates in Lovestruck. Like knife throwing coulda been a fun date activity they threw in, they missed yet ANOTHER opportunity to put pool tables in the game officially, they could have added it as a thing for couples to do. How about co-boat rides in the new world, maybe with a rowing skill. Any of the random activities of life TOGETHER could have been added as date things to do. Then new things to do would have been in the game. Just try something besides bar, night club, lounge and things already in the game Sims team.
Well, this was fun! A lot of interesting opinions out there... I used to worry about running out of room in my rotational save, but I have all the packs, and play SO slowly, that it'll be awhile before I need more space, and For Rent really opens up a lot of possibilities for neighborhood density. Yay! Get Together is great, with the versatile clubs and huge world. Every single one of my Sims is in a club of one sort or another. As far as Seasons goes, it's not my favorite. I confess that I prefer it to be sunny all time in my game. I have discovered the joys of a charged Amber crystal, and make great use of it. I don't love having to use it, as it's a bit "out there" for my relatively "realistic" gameplay style, but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. Also, I don't love the in-game holidays. Those dang Harvestfest Gnomes scare the crap out of me and are annoying. Plus, the whole day is just me trying to fit in a group meal and tick off all of the tasks to get the reward points I really want. It interrupts my regular gameplay. It's the same with Winterfest. Plus, I have to figure out gifts for everyone, and try not to burn the house down if they light the stupid tree (heavy sigh). My favorite holiday is one I created, the Oasis Springs Summer Arts Festival. I built a Community Marketplace out of a rehabbed Spanish Mission. The original bell tower was all that survived of the mission complex after a terrible fire. The local arts community purchased the land and built a multi-purpose venue, where artists exhibit their work, art classes are held, artisans gather to sell their wares out front, and musicians perform. There are food stalls, splash pads, hopscotch, a wall mural, a neighborhood recycling center & community garden. The holiday includes traveling to the venue, appreciating a piece of art, celebrating with music or art, and enjoying a lemonade or some juice. It's just fun, and much less stressful. It's also always crawling with Sims. My opinion? TS4 is fun! Okay, that's enough. Thanks for sharing!
This was a really fun read - I love your Oasis Springs Featival idea thank you for sharing. As a rotational player myself can I ask how you set up your rotation? Do you keep all your families in the my household tab? And how do you manage aging? These are two things I never know how to handle.
@@SamJones-qx9hz Yes, I keep them all in My Households, as well as the useful Townies who have roles within the game, like Agnes Crumplebottom & Knox Greenburg. I don't have strict rules, bounce from household to household as gameplay dictates. I have 9 households at University, and am fairly good at rotating on a schedule there. Once a batch of 7-9 graduates, I get them settled in the worlds, with homes & jobs, maybe play several thru dating and engagements, etc., then I may head back to uni for another batch. It all depends on what storylines are fun, which Sims are engaging me, and who needs a partner or kids. Aging is off, and I age up as necessary. I try to keep their ages within generations, but I don't sweat it too much. This is MY game, and if it doesn't bother me, then I'm good to go, ya know? I hope I answered your questions!
@@SamJones-qx9hzI started playing rotationally too. I personally keep my families in active households, aging on only for active household. I play a week per family until the last family and for that week I turn on aging for the rest of the households (npcs and such). This way everybody ages at the same time, a week per rotation.
Yeah Ive had harvestfest deleted for years 😂 along with prank day and neighborhood brawl. One of my favourite holidays is the superbowl (Simmerbowl). I'm not American and I hate sports lol but I imagine it's like a huge game between foxbury and britechester and I have my Sims dress up in all red or green with the university facepaint, and they drink and party and watch sports. It's always in summer and I usually set it up in the backyard using lots of flags and banners for the team they support. There's this parking lot 'tailgate' place they can go to too, with speakers and coolers and couches in the back of cars. One party outfit slot for my Sims is always dedicated for their simmer bowl outfit 😂 and when my Sims are kids I have three days of 'Scout Camp' where they use the clubs system to essentially go away for camp w other kids. And I have a 3 day summer vacation holiday so I remember to actually give my Sims a vacation, and a 'winter begins' holiday that's essentially just a reminder for me to put up all the Christmas decorations. (and I go all out, though they decorate the Christmas trees on the 'winterfest eve' holiday). As you can tell, I loooove the holidays function lol
In defense of the "World packs" opinion, I somewhat agree. A lot of times, EA/Maxis like to use giving a new world as a reason for why the expansion-and sometimes game packs-are so much. But in reality, worlds are just set dressings more often then not. Nothing really happens in them and they all just look pretty but they don't feel alive. I'd happily sacrifice a new world in an expansion pack if it meant more time was dedicated to better gameplay in those packs.
Yeah, I want height rep but not in Sims 4. This is something that needed to be there from the beginning of Base Game. If they tried adding it in now we'd have a million more bug reports because ceiling height, ceiling items, and gap sizes also factor into whether a Sim can interact with an object in the environment, like a regular door under the stairs for example (based on which wall height is being used) or even the pet doors regarding toddlers and infants lol. I'm just hoping any follow-up, Sims 5 or whatever, has at least 3 different heights for teen-elder, maybe 5 at the maximum for super short and super tall Sims, so there can be teens, young adults, adults, and elders in every size, and that feels like a reasonable limitation to me. Humans can be big or small as early as birth but that might be overdoing the workload for diminishing returns; children could have 2-3 heights max. IMHO we don't need every possible inch/cm difference; just something distinctive enough to make it obvious at a glance and that would allow for every animation to look decent because it's easier to plan around limited options (plus multiplication means 3 adult heights by 2 kid heights would be 6 variations for every interaction, 3x3=9 and 5x3=15 lol.) I don't like teens defaulting to shorter because that varies by teen and how their growth spurt happens. I get wanting to differentiate them but IRL it can be hard to tell and I'd rather have height dependent on genetics or player choice. Admittedly, animation is very time-consuming and so the devs end up reusing a lot of them because of time crunch and not enough devs available, which means they'd also need way more animators devoted to this future game. But that's a good thing IMHO. Entertaining animations sell the immersion more than super realistic graphics do, which is what the gaming industry has misunderstood for a few decades now and admittedly, there were many more animations in older packs but I feel like the problem is they used it more to cover up for the lengthy simulation lag and they cut corners on how relatively realistic it was, as in too many bombastic sneezes into the food at low level cooking skill and not enough reaching for pots and utensils in the kitchen counters at any skill level, which means players got tired of them much faster. That said, texture work is very important and we've been seeing the difference these past few years. There needs to be a balance for sure; I'm not trying to say the graphics can be entirely ignored just that pushing the envelope in the direction of live action CGI hasn't been necessary for the gaming industry once they reached a certain point and it was never super necessary for the Sims. They just need to figure out some way to get relatively detailed models without multiplying the polygon count too much? I know making the model hollow helps... IDK if CC and Maxis Devs have been doing that but somehow the amount of surface polygons is still just so much on detailed hair and outfits. I'm not sure what the answer to that one is. I'm not arguing against diversity. We need tasty looking meals, textured hairs, clothes with actual 3D detailing, and better animations, all of it, is what I'm trying to say but I'm doing a poor job lol.
I'm so tired of hearing people say "I don't want cars in TS4" is an unpopular opinion. Every content creator I see with a list like this always has this opinion as an unpopular opinion - its not that unpopular.
@@aaries416 yeah having or not having cars in TS4 and if it would/wouldn’t work is a pretty evenly split divide with rapid “Yes” and firm “Nos”. I also think there are a diverse amount of opinions on what “having cars” even means. Some people just want a garage pack and an excuse to build garages (sooooo, basically decor), some people want something that actually ‘drives’, and some people would be happy with cars just being click to travel objects. As much as I want cars, I think anything EA did right now in that arena would fail because someone would be unsatisfied with them, even in the “I want cars” camp.
The sims 4 children more after school activities and it would be nice if we go home school our children in The Sims 4 like the children should be able to do like ballet and show their parents the daughters and Sims could do ballet and the sons Sims could do karate that would be nice to show their parents what they learned in there after school program like they did in Sims 3.
I can't get behind bands in the sims 4 because you know how long it takes my sims to join cooking?? I cant imagine how long it would take them to route for the band interaction😭😭
I wholly agree with cars are not needed but I think you brought up a good point with they should add them before loading screens. It would add a little more pizazz lol
i have to disagree w u on open worlds. id do anything to get them back in a modern sims game. especially when u play with multiple sims being on different lot types not being able to easily control what theyre doing is so annoying. maybe i just have too many fond memories of taking scenic bike rides around bridgeport in the sims 3
'I'm an adult and take better care of my Sims since ts1' - no, ts1 was just extremely difficult to make money and keep your sims happy and take care of their needs. Sims 3&4 it's definitely too easy to keep everyone happy, which is okay I guess, but I do miss the challenge (I've not played sims 2 so can't comment on that). I also agree that I don't understand why people have to hate on how others play their game. If you aren't enjoying someone sharing how they play, then just unfollow and leave it at that. And I need more lots. Currently I'm constantly having to choose between enough community lots and enough sim houses.
While I do think the AI in clubs is okay, it's always for solo activities. My sims don't walk in the gardens together, they don't have a group animation together. The AI for group activities is horrendous and it gives us My wedding disasters. (I don't even want to talk about the sims not cooking together correctly.) But bands would be great. For the BB/CAS gamestyle, I do think it's more that TS4 definitely leans on building JUST a CAS game or BB game, relegating live mode to the background when it is marketed as a life simulator so, yes to great assets, visually interesting, but I think if we just had great basics in those categories and a select amount of out there assets in there, people would still be creative. Also some expansion packs I bought just for BB and CAS because gameplay was disappointing and I knew it. So I felt that comment. XD I also felt the not enough lot for families but also not enough for community. That's why I want multipurpose community lots. 😭
If they gave me a kit with 3-5 fleshed out worlds, I’d buy it. But I don’t want any new world types like this. Another English or American inspired world like this is ok. Don’t they dare introduce an African world like this
The only console game versions that I have nostalgia for is , sims bustin out - mostly the furniture (downloaded a bunch of wall and floor conversions to the sims 4 recently, making all my sims houses look like 90s/200s chaos) and sims 2 for the ds. Honestly an entire remake of sims 2 on ds for the pc or switch would heal me; aliens, Bigfoot, superhero, cow cult, mafia, running a hotel = perfect game
They need to scrap new world in the next few expansion packs but with having a world, they seem to sacrificing actual game play and it's annoying . We've got a billion worlds with mid game play now
My unpopular opinion: growing together added almost nothing to my gameplay. Family dynamics are arbitrary and useless, and I hate the world. I feel like parenthood added more 😂
Also I love to have cars in Sims 4 because it will be nice to have the daycare career the daycare car like they have in Sims 3 and I would love to teach my teenager how to drive like Sims 3 also, they should bring back the alarm system like they have in Sims 3 robber trying to break in a cops show up or if the teenagers sneak out past curfew the cops or bring them home like sims 3
Can you play The Sims2 on a computer with the minimum specification for The Sims ? Not really. Can you play The Sims3 on a computer with the minimum specification for The Sims2 ? Badly, and not at all with a computer with the minimum specification for The Sims. Can you play The Sims4 on a computer with the minimum specification for The Sims2 ? Not at all. Not even on a computer with the recommended specifications for The Sims2. Can run on a computer with the recommended specification for The Sims3, at the lowest settings. The Sims and The Sims2 should be made open source. From infant to teen, the height should gradually change over time. Infant start small and grow almost to the starting height of toddlers, toddlers start shorter and progressively grow, same for kids and teens who get to almost adult height as they are about to age up. The actual growth rate must be proportional to the life span. Open world ? When to many neighbourhoods are JUST TO DAMN VAST ? No way ! It's just so damn easy to have your kids get A+ grade in school and high school... Without even trying.
@@arthur_shadows5078 I don't remember that, but people don't think about 2 & 3 for things like this. Only if they can say 4 is the only problem. Like ts3 store.
Get together has the biggest neighborhoods with the most spawners, most and biggest lots. Sadly, they have said we will not get a world as big as Windenburg again 😢
the fact that other sims' pronouns are visible in Cupid's Corner but not in-game is really bothering me atm, not sure if that's necessarily an unpopular opinion but i haven't seen anyone bring it up
A lot of these IMO aren't unpopular. These are more like options people expect you to agree with or you must be a newbie and have no idea how ta2&3 are. Long comment giving opinion on most of these opinions. "The Sims 4 takes a lot of imagination." Oh another unpopular opinion i should have stated but remember i said i have a ton? I think this is how it's supposed to be but we definitely need a little nore. I can fi through ecery GP & EP and think "couldn't sdd this little detail" ( that msy or may not be easy to code) I was thinking about heights last night while i was working on a screenshot post. I'd rather throw in a disclaimer about the heights then this being official. My thought was what about cc creators and pos makers? Even if it's 3 options. I actually don't think it's a problem the teena wre the same height as asukts but we definitely need a teen clothes category. Chires in game is silly to me. Yes, i know a kife simulation game but how many people plsy to avoid chores but watch sims do it? Yes open neighborhood. Fun fact; i thought neighborhoods was an attempt to fux the performance issue of 3 but right away i was thinking why not opeb? And now add shrinking. Seasons is something i don't feel tge hype. Agdun, i know it's a life simulation game but it's just.... But ts3 having a lot for a seasonal fair was a good. They definitely should have added. Love the holidays. A band GP would be awesome. I have been thinking the options menu really needs to be utilized but with everything thet people say could be an option, it would be way too much for players and I'm not sure if Sims can handle it. Ah yes, the mods & cc argument. Also the commenting oeroid. Like why? A lot of people give me the impression that they stick around to ruin the fun for others to hopefully get them to hste the game so why do they bother? Oh about CAS and build/ but, it's interesting that the argument is to be just in CAS, build/ buy rather than playing means the game is a failure. So to me people who spent most of the time in CAW in 3 is a sign the game failed. We can have cars. Hello ta2. Mire detailed than 3 imo. Yes mechanics, cqr sales etc. Ts3 was bad with lots. Maybe not the number of, but whth all the lots we have, there's not enough to plop all the lots down and hace enough for residential lots. The problem with the buying on ps5 vs a PC is different shop. So unless EA van get EA spp on console. Theme park world/ pack i fear would have people comparing to the actual theme park games. If it's not like Planet Coaster, EA half-assed. Even if we're talking ts5. DLC for DLC, hmm... Well console would be excluded and most of the community would be like absolutely not. This model sounds like another version of the ta3 store. Also adding on to the rebate for 4 period; we're forced to buy all DLC yet for 2 & 3, it was optional. IMO it's the same as 2&3 and id people want to defend the ts3 store which i read the items are $5K but to get all the simpooints and stuff us $35K. Talk about stuff keft out of a dlc to msje another, there's a tin of stuff in the ts3 store could have been in a DLC or made knto one. I know you skipped my unpopular opinions. I know i gave 5. I'm not going to give all my opinions here. This is already top long. 😆
Vis-a-vis the height slider, I can see the animations being an issue, but clothing? Ive seen quite a few sims made taller with mod sliders in my own and streamed games. Never see clothing fit be an issue. As for the missing silliness... Current crop of Simmers need to accept aacountability here. If you keep pressuring EA to mistakenly put your activism in a game this is what you'll get. Sims 1-3 were irreverent, outrageous and consequently fun. if you want to change the world, turn off the game and go out into the real world and try to change what you feel needs changing. Sometimes you'll find success, sometimes not. Societal change involves a society, not just individual preference. i saw a post on Reddit where aSimmer was explaining to another simmer that they couldnt play Jungle Adventures because of how wrong it is to steal artefacts from indigenous peoples... So much for unpopular opinions...
Here's an unpopular opinion, I think we have way too much LGBT Representation in the game. We have more LGBT people in the game then Pocs. of all ethnicities and races.. And Poc's make up a bigger percentage of the world than gay people. I'm sick of the gaming industry and social media sucking up to groups with special interests more than dealing with the majority of the population. Considering it's such a small percentage of the world... And I'm not hating because I have been between many legs of women. So don't come at me Saying I'm phobic of something. And I don't know why you said you don't have the power to speak about things like non binary topics because your cis. you have the power and the ability to speak on anything you wish. What happened to this world that we capitulate to everybody instead of living our own best lives and speaking our opinions? as opposed to walking all over egg shells trying to please other people and make sure we don't hurt other people's feelings therefore focusing on other people's lives more than our own lives and happiness. which is what it sounds like you do ..like you don't want to upset one or two people.. I'm sorry. I won't live my life that way. That's why I'm keeping my opinion visible. And I accept any anger people have towards me about this
Your...whole channel is about playing Sims 4 and you "don't think you've heard good game and sims 4 in the same sentence" before this? That's pretty wild. I don't understand why so many people whose livelihoods rely on this game are so quick to act like it's so bad you "have never seen someone say it's good". Over an entire decade you've never seem someone say they think the game you play for a living is good? That's just....there's no way that's true. As for "Sims 3 Store was a better value", that one is just plain objectively false. The Sims 3 Cottage Living Equivalent- -A Store pack for chickens (ugly, ugly chickens) -A store pack for cows -A store pack for a cottage decor set -A store pack for a farm tractor and such The cottage decor set I mentioned has about 20 items in it that are found in Sims 4 Cottage Living *debug* for free as extras. Like, a water wheel. That's in Cottage Living DEBUG. For FREE. The total price of those sets is well over the 40 dollars for Cottage Living. The Sims 3 My Wedding Stories Equivalent- -Generations (for weddings) -The store wedding set (for wedding decor) That's already 60 dollars, and the weddings are worse, and the decor is overpriced, and lower in quantity than MWS, which was only 20 dollars. There are many examples of this kind of thing.
I'm with you I still want cars, hell I want a whole transportation system. Not just taxis & your own cars. But bus, train, metro, tram and plane lol. Especially with the way they make these worlds. I don't think they are doing this for nothing. I also would love it if we had a bit more difficulties travelling tho worlds.
I like dlc for dlc, BUT I'm talking old packs, more stuff for cats and dogs, new get to work objects etc. but I don't want a 2nd my first pet stuff that instantly releases after the EP and has the rest of a set, finish the pack, don't split a set on two
I actually feel like they're listening too much, which I feel like is how we got to the sims basically being "E for everybody"
They listened to everyone and that's how we got Lovestruck and For Rent lol.
I WISH they woulda hired cc creators to make the lashes. there are so many amazing maxis match cc lashes.
I ABSOLUTELY would play sims castaway or sims medieval if they remade them with the sims 4 as it's base ❤
I don't know why but I can't stop watching the froogy plushie in your background😍
12:56 i miss making beds so much, it’s not even that deep but i’ve been searching for a mod that adds that FOR SO LONG NOW (but i do get it would be so much work to keep it updated since we get like 10 beds in every new expansion packs😂)
@@nerodiseppia99 if you use mods Utopya_cc has a make the bed mod.
"I don't know the breeds of cars but I know my breed of car." @27:50 😂
My unpopular opinion is this:
EA/Maxis and the Sims community need to each select a handful of delegates to meet in a board room, sit and chat for a few sessions over the course of a few days, and come to a mutual agreement on what should constitute an Expansion Pack, a Game Pack, and a Stuff Pack.
These days it feels completely arbitrary.
I miss Sims 4 surveys so much
love the mini-game idea!
The sims 4 needs a hard mode. It’s way too easy to spam interactions to boost relationships and bring more chaos!
Video idea here mollie,
You should make a video on.
Most of them seem to be 20x30 which is okay for a small home, but not for a farm, mansion, community lots, etc
- I kind of miss the old sims store where you could buy just one item, or just a world, instead of having to buy an entire pack.
@@skunkjo3195 wow that's even worse than I thought 🥲😅
I do also think they should do more pack revamps and we need an elder and child pack. AND MORE HOBBIES
The original ts4 Bella Goth is better than the refresh one
Cassandra ate though.
@alicjadrazkiewicz3383 the new one? The only improvement for me was that the new alex finally had black eyebrows.

Unpopular opinion: I really like new eyelashes, the upper ones only version.
Ha
Fun random stuff like that isn't done anymore.
@@TheDawnofVanlife agreed! I really want the, to iterate on gameplay kits! It would be so cool to get more stuff like that
Well, this was fun!
@@finntastic2896 Thank you 🥰
Yeah Ive had harvestfest deleted for years 😂 along with prank day and neighborhood brawl.
We got marbles and hopscotch recently
I want cars so bad in TS4.
I can't get behind bands in the sims 4 because you know how long it takes my sims to join cooking?? I cant imagine how long it would take them to route for the band interaction😭😭
My PS4 went to crap do to memory and I had to get a new one and thanks to having them in a digital library I was able to redownload all my packs
I wholly agree with cars are not needed but I think you brought up a good point with they should add them before loading screens. It would add a little more pizazz lol
We need more worlds based on Denmark, Sweden, Poland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and everywhere else
i have to disagree w u on open worlds. id do anything to get them back in a modern sims game. especially when u play with multiple sims being on different lot types not being able to easily control what theyre doing is so annoying. maybe i just have too many fond memories of taking scenic bike rides around bridgeport in the sims 3
I will defend legacy challenges until sims 4 dies.
XD
I also felt the not enough lot for families but also not enough for community.
Honestly an entire remake of sims 2 on ds for the pc or switch would heal me; aliens, Bigfoot, superhero, cow cult, mafia, running a hotel = perfect game
the mini-game one is so clever! i would absolutely love to have that in my game :D
I love Castaway, it's my favorite Sims by far. I've played non stop and the version for PS2 was better than for computers
They need to scrap new world in the next few expansion packs but with having a world, they seem to sacrificing actual game play and it's annoying . We've got a billion worlds with mid game play now
Oh my gosh! I would love a remake or a rerelease of sims 1 or 2!!
My unpopular opinion: growing together added almost nothing to my gameplay. Family dynamics are arbitrary and useless, and I hate the world. I feel like parenthood added more 😂
Also I love to have cars in Sims 4 because it will be nice to have the daycare career the daycare car like they have in Sims 3 and I would love to teach my teenager how to drive like Sims 3 also, they should bring back the alarm system like they have in Sims 3 robber trying to break in a cops show up or if the teenagers sneak out past curfew the cops or bring them home like sims 3
yay thank you for giving us 40 minutes of silly ideas
The actual growth rate must be proportional to the life span.

the fact that other sims' pronouns are visible in Cupid's Corner but not in-game is really bothering me atm, not sure if that's necessarily an unpopular opinion but i haven't seen anyone bring it up
A lot of these IMO aren't unpopular.
I can fi through ecery GP & EP and think "couldn't sdd this little detail" ( that msy or may not be easy to code)
I was thinking about heights last night while i was working on a screenshot post.
The Sims 3 Cottage Living Equivalent-
-A Store pack for chickens (ugly, ugly chickens)
-A store pack for cows
-A store pack for a cottage decor set
-A store pack for a farm tractor and such
The cottage decor set I mentioned has about 20 items in it that are found in Sims 4 Cottage Living *debug* for free as extras. Like, a water wheel. That's in Cottage Living DEBUG. For FREE. The total price of those sets is well over the 40 dollars for Cottage Living.
The Sims 3 My Wedding Stories Equivalent-
-Generations (for weddings)
-The store wedding set (for wedding decor)
That's already 60 dollars, and the weddings are worse, and the decor is overpriced, and lower in quantity than MWS, which was only 20 dollars.
There are many examples of this kind of thing.
You were right until you mentioned generations…be careful with mentioning generations
GO BIRDS!
First😂 yayy my first time being first
Have you seen her second black widow challenge called celebrity gold digger?
I'm with you I still want cars, hell I want a whole transportation system. Not just taxis & your own cars. But bus, train, metro, tram and plane lol. Especially with the way they make these worlds. I don't think they are doing this for nothing. I also would love it if we had a bit more difficulties travelling tho worlds.
