    I believe Tisha, being coupled with the wrong person/energy will make you sick,... good thing she was able to get out in time 🙌🏾

    Thank you for the transparency. Black women, we MUST band together and realize WE are all we have in the flesh. We must advocate for us as a whole.❤❤

    Sarcoidosis is not a lung disease. It’s an autoimmune disorder that can attack any organ but most patients experience lung involvement. I have had lung, skin and eye involvement.

    • @nopressurenodiamonds5566
      @nopressurenodiamonds5566 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Not really. It’s an immune related inflammatory disease but not technically classified as AI disease like Lupus, RA, MS. It can attack different organs like Lupus for instance but acts in a different way as far as the immune response to your bodies own proteins.

      It’s all a DIS EASE skip the technicalities it’s always an underlining cause that you need to find out that’s going on in your body

    It was a middle age Black feminist doctor who misdiagnosed me, she told me I was too young to have breast cancer. It was stage 2 , by the time I visited another Doctor.

    I’m so glad I happened to come across this podcast! I just started having issues with my lungs and doctors can’t seem to get it right. I was told I have pneumonia and given antibiotics sent home. Within 4 months later I’m stick with pneumonia again! Now they are not sure what’s going on and now sent me to a pulmonologist. I’m having some of the issues and remembering the doctors just saying ok let’s wait and see how this medication works. I remember seeing these ringworm rash on my body but I never told my doctor! He never ask me because they come and go! WOW! I’m call the pulmonologist now!!!!

    I didn't know what Sarcoidosis until I met my mother in law who has passed away. Since then I have known more women who had it. They have all passed away now. I think if they had known more about it, they would have gotten better health care. Thank you Tisha for telling us your story. God Bless 🙏💕

    I enjoyed this podcast. A good reminder how stress affects the body. My healthcare professionals all touch on stress…my pcp, OBGYN, dermatologist, etc. A lot of insight given from both guests and I’m a fan of Tisha’s.
    I will catch more episodes as well. I had to run the end back because it seems to cut off mid sentence but I’m definitely subscribed now.

      I got it in my thirties.
      I'm 69 and okay. Some scarring in my lungs but I was told there was no damage.
      Majority of people dont experience relapses. And there's great treatment if you do.
      I didn't overthink it at the time, [had kids and full time job], and only recently looked up all the ways it can affect you. I'm so glad I was not aware of these effects as I would have lived a highly stressful life for all these years.
      Listen to your doc' and don't overthink.
      Best wishes❤
