This video is made for both kids and adults. Kids can enjoy seeing their favorite characters on screen and memorable stories being remade or personal stories being told, and teens/adults can enjoy the production value/scale of the video.

Wow… This is an amazing collection of take alongs, I am a take along user myself so this is so cool to see!
Byron and Patrick were also released in Take Along, the same year the Take Along range did get discontinued.
I've been collecting Take Along for years, here are some factoids for you:
-Early Take Along had all-metal smokeboxes, names were molded into the bottom of the chassis, and they weighed more. Later versions switched to plastic smokeboxes, white print, and were lighter in weight which I believed started in around 2006-ish. There were a few exceptions to this however such as Rheneas
-The only items to have white wheels were the rocking troublesome truck, Duncan, Annie, and Clarabel
-The troublesome truck that's mostly gray came in the Sodor Mining Co. set
-Some road vehicles such as Bulgy and Ned were made with and without magnets, non-magnetic variants came later. People debate whether which versions are superior, I personally like the magnetic versions because you could connect them to Butch or have them help clear a train wreck.
-The Thomas at 36:07 did indeed come with the jet engine. To my knowledge it's the only way that specific variant can be obtained, it's supposed to be based off of a season 6 face.
-James was made with gray wheels in only the first few years of Take Along, they later switched to black wheels to be TV series accurate. The only rail items to have gray wheels were James, Duck, the Tidmouth milk tanker, the Sodor Train Line caboose, and Diesel 10
-Yes Lorry 1 did come with a trailer
-The small green flatbed came with the saw mill set, it had its own log unique from the log loader which could be split into two pieces and reassembled with magnets
-I believe the carnival tanker is a Take N Play item
-They did make Byron around 2008
-I believe the blue fireworks car was only made in Europe, I'm not entirely sure
The carnival (cotton candy) tanker is a Take Along item.
It was included in the Thomas & Percy's Carnival Adventure playset (LC76554). It was an exclusive edition for Target and only this edition included the tanker along with James

As someone who's losing interest in Thomas... I find this nostalgic. I remember having take alongs when I was 3-4 years old before eventually liking real railfanning.
Take-Along Thomas; one of the high-quality Thomas merchandise lines of yesteryear, when Learning Curve had the Thomas license.
Quite an awesome lot you got your hands on Nick and of course a nice mini collection video at the end. I'm honestly shocked that pretty much almost every character is here besides Duck and Duke and like you said you already had Fergus. While wooden railway is mine main staple brand too I've started collecting a lot of tnp stuff recently only the stuff I really want. But hey this was definitely a win. Can't wait to see more videos man.

I know were that cotton candy car comes from. There was a special release of the carnival set and it came with Thomas,Percy,James and the Cotton candy. I saw it on eBay.

on 35:55 I believe the odd Thomas face was included on the Thomas & the Jet Engine Set I have 4 models with that face but I do prefer the Stock Standard face

Why don't you, huh? Like, why ? If you watch a Take Along video, you should have every single Take Along character. And, if you were to spend 75 dollars on every single Take Along character but the lot was missing one insignificant item, would you complain about it?
