This video has inspired me to collect more Thomas DVDs and I feel like getting a few VHS tapes after watching part one, and some moments also made me laugh and over all I enjoyed it. Edit: my collection has absolutely expanded tremendously, don’t you just love watching DVDs that make you get a nostalgic feeling?
5:09 I have the blue border variant of the Best of Thomas DVD I got for a buck at a Gold Exchange/pawn shop not too long ago. I heard that version is extremely hard to come by? Not sure tbh, very impressive collection! Oh and yes it came with everything inside, pamphlets and all, it was practically unused and the CD is in fantastic condition!
As much as I tolerate AEG. I can’t defend the DVDs. As much as the Universal DVDs bug me, at least they have multiple menus. The AEG DVDs only have one menu (the exception being Race for the Sodor Cup.). Of the menus, I feel like Lookout Mountain has the worst DVD menu, worse than most of the other AEG DVDs, Worse than Carnival Capers, Worse than Milkshake Muddle, and Worse than Engines and Escapades. The Lookout Mountain DVD only has one menu, which only has the options to play and to turn on subtitles. If that didn’t scream “Streaming with extra steps”, I don’t know what does.

I'm actually only 3 DVDs off from getting every single Dutch TTTE release, only missing a random best of and TATMR and TAB, those movies never came out here but I gotta have all the movies
30:14 And this is when the FOX DVDs stopped trying. Milkshake Muddle, Carnival Capers, and Engines and Escapades all have no bonus features (minus a bonus episode for the latter two) and NO EPISODE SELECTIONS?!?! 0/10 for all three of these DVDs, would not recommend.
If I had a nickel for every thomas home media collector I know of who jumped ship at rescue on the rails, I’d have 2 nickels, which isn’t a lot but it’s also not weird that it happened twice, NITROGEN FRACKING SUCKS. Also, I only have one slip cover, because my dad decided to throw away all the slip covers I already owned, WITHOUT MY CONSENT!
