RIP KK. This movie began a CB radio and trucking craze in Australia in tbe 70's! I didn't even know why until I saw this great American film a few years ago.
There aren't many movies that give you the tingly feel-good factor like this one does. Everything from the way the film was shot, edited, acted and the musical score makes it one of a kind in my book.
I remember being 6 or 7 and was hooked on this film... great opening and the sound of the engines and those classic trucks .... this has and always will be part of me
My grandad loved this film, used to watch it with him when I was a kid. When I go back to watch this film it always reminds me of him. He was a trucker as well ❤️🙏
i remember my dad got this on pirate VHS before it was in uk main stream 1 of my all time greats loved it start to finish it also started the CB amateur radio craze late 70s and early 80s. todays films you watch a love story all talk for 1 hour then you be lucky you see 20 min of action in CGI lol crap
The opening credits are still pretty awesome even to this day. Thanks for the upload. It brings back so many memories ha. I used to watch this movie to death as a child. As soon as it was over the VCR got rewound all the way back and played again. My parents must have been driven mad but luckily my dad was a truck driver so some days I'd go shotgun. Fun times. :)

The desert is white and looks like a snowy field. very cool video! I love 70's car movies shot in the American desert. Like 'dual'. It's a movie from only 50 years ago, but it feels like a western movie with horses turned into cars.

Yeah most of the film it's a Detroit 8V92 which is indeed a 2 stroke.
