To save time (for the tutorial) I used a green deck which was already set in Ace through King order.

I love watching your card tricks and tutorials, by sheer luck i came across the video, and then i saw i wrote a message 3 years ago asking about a tutorial, and here is one. So, after three years of waiting, it was worth waiting for. Thanks again for the great tricks and of course the tutorials.

After messing around with the set up, I figured out away to stack the deck so that it comes out in the exact perfect order that a brand new deck comes in (Spades Ace-King, Hearts Ace-King, Clubs Ace-King, Diamonds Ace-King). Instead of dealing out 12 piles at the end, I simply insert the “perfectly sorted deck” back into the card case and tell the spectator that the case will “magically” put the entire deck back into perfect order, then I pull it out and show them. They are blown away with this presentation!

To do this you have to repeat three more deals to get it back to the correct order

  • @davider6884

I'll explain again even if the video does: Take all the hearts, spades, clubs and diamonds and put them in order so that an Ace is on the bottom and a King on the top: Ace, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Jack, Queen, King: Then you put all the 4 piles together in Black-red order: For example Spades, diamonds, clubs and then the hearts on top.
Then you make 3 piles in a triangle until all the cards are gone just like in the video. Pick the 3 piles in the same order than in the video: Bottom right pile, bottom left pile, top pile. Then take a look through the cards if you want.
You cut the cards as many times as you want and then you make once again 3 piles in triangle until all the cards are gone. Pick up the 3 piles in the same order than in the video. Cut them as many times as you want again. Then make 3 piles a third and last time. Now turn the cards over upside down and deal out every single card.
Your first card should be a King then a Queen and a Jack then all the numbers in order from 10 to 2. As soon as you are at the 2, your next card should be an Ace automaticaly. This order should go through the whole deck. I hope I could help you :) Answer my comment if you did it or not

    2) Once you split the deck into three piles in front of spectator, show him/her that the deck is "shuffled" (if you follow step one it will really look like it). Spread out the cards and as you're picking them up, cut the deck so that a king is at the bottom. Once you deal the cards out again to put the deck into order, the ace will be at the bottom. Do some false cuts and this will probably take away the random cutting and the end. Hope I made sense

Its probably better to sort the cards out twice to yourself, because if you do it only once then 4 red, 4 black, 4 red, 4 black etc etc, which some people spot out, but doing it twice makes the cards look completely mixed no order what so ever. Just a tip.

It worked for me the first time. My question is, do YOU cut the deck or let the spectator? And if they cut the deck, some people would cut like the top third of the deck instead of in the middle or even be cheeky and take like the top 10 cards or something. Would the trick still work if the spectator messes with the deck?

Key: You can't pick up the three piles in just any order. Put the oddball card in the first pile, then pick them up in this order:
    1, 2, 3

A good variant to this trick is during your set up put the cards in alternating same colour suits. 2 of Hearts, 3 of Diamonds, 4 of hearts, 5 of diamonds... Etc until they're all sorted. Do the preparation. Then during the final cut, cut so that there is a king at the back. Then watch your audience be amazed as you deal a "shuffled" deck out in new deck order.

I do this as a Patriotic trick. Red, White and Blue or Camouflage cards even better. The Story is Army, AF and Marines do more before 5 am than most. The 1st formation of 3 (secretly 2nd) represents 4 am PT then shower and change The 2nd formation of 3 represents Chow Hall at 6 am. The 13 formation is 7 am General's visit where Troops will get chewed out for being disorganized. N so fast.

I have a suggestion for this trick, after the "set up" you can show the spec that they're mixed up and have them cut the cards. Then do the 3 pile thing. And this time tell them "now they're completely mixed up". But this time YOU cut the cards and say "we'll cut the cards again for luck." But... when you cut them, cut a king to the bottom. This will place an Ace 3rd from the top. Then when you do your 3 pile thing and collect the ace pile last, you'll automatically have an ace on bottom.

if you put it like this: extra card pile on top, then, 2nd pile on middle, then 3rd pile on bottom, it is.

my fav trick is put all the cards in order (stack)
have them cut the cards as many times as they want
tell them to cut the cards a lot, the more the better..
the cards stay in order, u have to do a quick slide of the hand to finish it off when u find the ace. to get them all back in order..they dont go out of order

@Nano53535 I think I know what you are doing wrong. When you split the deck, make sure the card on top before you split is what's on top after you split. Otherwise it won't work
