    the only problem being.. it’s not learned from a harmony standpoint, but from a shapes standpoint.. immediate transposition is only available through harmonic understanding.. but you are a very great master and I love everything you do, including your generosity in teaching everyone here.. bless you! 🎸😎

    Guliani has exercises in thirds, sixths and tenths, but not as chords. Worth a look. Thanks. Great lesson.

    Yes, with only two notes at once can play great melodies. Of course little mixing one bass note/two melody notes. I have one example: Henry Purcell Minuet in A-minor from 1600-century. And it is a dance. Beautiful melody is beautiful melody ha ha.

    Interesting. Paul McCartney uses this exercise in "Blackbird".

    Interesting in that it combines 2 scale modes from one key albeit an octave apart.. ionian + phrygian
