    Just paid cash for a 2018 Cadillac XTS and I freaking love it! Ride so smooth I'm definitely spoiled now lol! Thinking of some aftermarket rims and adding my 12 speaker but didn't wanna make it 2 "hood" being that it supposed a luxury type car and all (and I'm 40 🤣)

      44 myself. You killed it picking that up, congrats.
      Man put you some slap in that thang, the good thing is that the way it’s designed, it holds a lot of the beat.
      Whatever you do, take your time and get yourself a sub and amp that will net you true 1000 watts of RMS power.
      Congrats again homie.

      @@AllAboutTKK Apprecia you can do the same the LED'S are cheap online. It's easy to pop out the old and put in the new. I'ma do alot more to it though. There's a clear spray paint that glows in the dark it's made by Rust-Oleum. Im gonna spray my license plate with it. Then put in the black light plate lights so it'll glow at night like a black light. IDK if that's legal but idc lol they'll be able to see it anyway. Nobody else has done that yet. I like the factory rims on the car but I want to get some black and chrome 20's or 22's for the Caddy. Ahhh so many options to choose from lol Cadillac fan for life. Yours is tough 💪

    That's nice.. I love the XTS style I have the 2013 Platinum all wheel drive and it's been my favorite car. I bought it off one of my older customers of mine before he died. He loved cadi's and he treated it right. Always stayed up on oil changes and cabin/air filters as well as breaks and tire changes. The man was a real cadi lover and he took care of the XTS I got. It's barely got 35k miles now. I got it two years ago at 15k. Dude barely drove the car but was so used to taking the car in oil changes and the fixens that everything was basically new when I got it. I've added a system, new tires, tint, a few Cadillac accessories on the inside and I felt guilty at first but I put some rims on it and honestly I haven't had anything go wrong with the suspension since I put the rims on so everything is good. I love the car, it's also a beauty and a conservative car that when you're walking up to it. It looks like it would belong to a rich businessman. I mean I'm a businessman but I'm by far a "Rich" one if you get what I'm saying. Haha.

    I got rid of the bose system because bose lacks highs. So what I did was in the trunk on the passenger side. I tapped into the bose pre outs (front door speakers because they carry all frequencies) with an LC7i. From the LC7i to my JL audio TWK88, from the TWK 88 to 2 amp. Alpine 4 Chanel and my 3k for my subs. I put JL audio tweets in the front dash and rear deck. I Also replaced the door speakers with JL audio 6.5 all 4 doors. I also have the 3k pushing 3 JL audio 12. Trust! You can tell that bose are garbage.

    I’ve been a Cadillac guy since I was a kid. They’ve always been in a league of their own to me. I started off renting STS’s then ended buying one as well as big slick DTS, loved the smooth power of the Northstar on trips while all my young bros were driving smaller sports cars, I could drive in and dress together with class.
    I’ve been looking at the 2016 XTS luxury AWD in Canada, Pearl white / Tan interior with 100k’s. I love the front end grill as usual but front & Back look as Caddy as your going to get
    I haven’t drove it yet but I am been making payments on new cars every 3 yrs and just want to buy the car straight up. Is their any advice as to anything you recommend doing considering it’s a 7 yrs old car low/ 60k miles on it. ?
    Love to hear from guys that own them. They want 26k CAD for it. Do you still have a little leverage putting down cash? Anything to look out for with this specific beauty ?
    Love to hear any advice as I’ve been out of the car buying game for over a decade now. Overall though this & the CTS Coupe are up there as my top ones for the $$ and in Canada the CTS AWD’s are hard to come by especially with low mileage.

      I bought mine used XTS Premium it's definitely worth it.
      You'll love it when you test drive it. I always keep several scan code reader's on me when going into buying or just test driving a car you plug it in under the driver side dash and it'll tell you if anything is wrong with the vehicle. But with the mileage such as the one you are interested in. You should be straight I would still do it anyway just to be sure. If you don't have a scanner when you take it for a test drive take it to the nearest O'Riley's and they'll let you use there's for free. If you're having any doubts Good luck Man 💪

    How did you wire the power cord for the amp for sub?

    • @AllAboutTKK
      @AllAboutTKK  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I didn’t.
      But there is power running from the battery under the seat. Is that what you mean? Audio was from a LOC.

      @@AllAboutTKK yea the grommet in the firewall is thicker than normal so I was trying to find an alternative route instead of running the wire from the hood on top of the car into the trunk lol

      @AllAboutTKK  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Nope, I bought what I could afford to cash out, no note!
      So that wasn’t an option for me. The sunroof model came with a step up in premium audio too, didn’t see the value because I’ve already taken my audio higher than what the best included package gives.

    They stopped making them in 2019 because they're crap and they didn't sell. It's only 2 years old as of this video just wait until it's a couple years older and out of warranty especially. You're going to curse the day you bought it. I've had a 2013 XTS since 2016 and it's been a money pit especially since mechanics have no idea how to work on them. Even under warranty the dealerships will try to rip you off. Research the GM bulletins and recalls.

      I run this car up and down the road, almost 70k miles on it. It’s only been to the dealership. You might of had a bad experience, paired with whatever you seen in forums, hasn’t been my experience.
      Thanks for commenting brother.

      @HowardLuken. None of what you said is true. Your experiences are not our experiences. I have a 2014 XTS Platinum w/ 75k miles. No issues and always serviced thru the dealership. Stop wishing your misfortunes on others with your wizardry, unfounded predictions of problems. Good grief!!!
