Ha! When you pulled out the two sofas to make one big bed, all I could picture were kids having a blast jumping around there. Good luck parents! ;) Pillow fight! A lot of nice space for family and friends in this one! 🎉🤗🎉
Myles, there is no way customers have been asking for carpets in the slides. They may have told you it’s based on customer feedback but no way. All the comments I ever see are about getting rid of the carpet and moving to a marine grade vinyl. Thanks for the review and all your efforts to bring us quality reviews.
@@joanmcerlean7158 I only repeat things like that when I’ve heard it directly from customers myself or seen it in comments in past videos. Granted, it’s only a few people that said that
I've long felt people drinking the Alliance and Brinkley Kool aid truly have no idea what separates the top production line rigs (DRV and Riverstone) from everything else available. The 3 " walls are absolutely far and above everything else but they have no idea that the cheaper rigs have much thinner walls. If I had a dually and full timed I'd be all over a DRV.
I don’t even think they’re comparable. We sold our Forest River and bought a Brinkley. That’s a better comparison. Actually, even between Alliance and Brinkley TT’s, we went with the Brinkley. Hands down. I put DRV in a completely different, “not in my budget” category.
As the comments below mentioned, they are hardly comparable. But I still had to address it since people often compare them and don't know what they can't see or know to look for.
Just filmed a comparison of a Brinkley and Allaince fifth wheel today! It's a more fair comparison, but still vastly different as the same size RVs are about $15-$20k different in price.
I love this model! The only thing I would have to think about, is the lack of overhead storage over the sofas, and no real pantry in the kitchen. Those omitted storage locations would definitely make me hesitant on choosing this model for full time living.
DRV as a rule builds a superior product. But for the life of me I can not figure out with the one cabinet in the kitchen passes through to the back of the one recliner. That should be closed off. Otherwise anything that is stored there has to be pulled out and packed away so that the stuff isn't scattered all over the place behind the chair. The shower should be far be a Marble or tile finished shower to give it a more appealing look. One would think that the brad nail holes would not be visible in this high end unit where all the trim is. The heat vents could have been ducted to come out of the bottom of the cabinets throughout as well,
@@jasonbrong3755 A first time response from someone who apparently has an issue with me pointing issues out. Do you hone in on everyone who points issues out? Understand there is a difference between pointing issues out and complaints. I and many others point out issues and I imagine we will continue to do so. I guess that will give you plenty to do and that is to make comments just like the one you made instead of rolling with the punches and just maybe making helpful comments by pointing out issues.
Just a note while I’m in the living room here with you, I personally would not buy an RV. They did not have an electric recliners in it, because those strip pulls sometimes are hard to close. They are so hard that I pulled a stitch of scar tissue loose trying to close one and spent eight days in the hospital thinking I was gonna have to have surgery, but finally the scar tissue finally unwrapped itself and I was OK.
Brinkley all the way!!! Beats, in my book DRV hands down. I thought it was used. DRV has no attention to detail and have not kept up with the indistry. Brinkley has better ceiling and floor insulation. DRV has thicker walls but heat is lost in the roof. The DRV has 8k axils because it is a whale. No permanent ladder in the DRV. Brinkley have water shut offs at the destination on each fuxture. You dont have to run outside get into a compartment to shut off it a fixture breaks filling your RV. Almost every cupboard and drawer you opened in the DRV had dirt and sawdust in them. There were dings and chips in the trim and cupboard doors. Example look at the screw holding the laundry door handle there is a glaring chip. The hinge is a completely diffrrent metal. You could see how they missed many nail holes. It just looked sloppy. Brinkley's finishes are perfect. Brinkley has a wiring color coded harness. Electric waste valves. They both have double pained windows. The body colors extend into the windows. The frame on the Brinkley i think is stronger by the way it is designed. They dont just keep adding steel and make the unit heavier. You talk about structure as apposed to cosmetic, Brinkley has both. Theyu both have heat pump ACs. The pin box is much better. And the DRV had carpet in the dining room??? Slides are not flush mount?? That is so 2000s. No dovetail drawers. No window in the kitchen. They could not run the tile all the way up in the kitchen? Brinkley does. Brinkley has the full body shower in the bath and one piece not in DRV. Its the little things i think adds up. I did not see any luxary except in the price. It is like, because they estabolished a standard years ago they can kick back and relax. In this industry you have to keep up. Brinkley has jumped ahead. Dollar for dollar i would get a Brinkley in a heartbeat. DRV just seemed they have no quality control. Heat in the floor is a deal breaker. My dog got their foot stuck once. You make excuses for DRVs short comings. Nicks and chips everytime you zoomed into trim. Brinkley does complete inspections before releasing it. Alliance is catching up too. Once these companies get acquired by one of the big boys, quality goes out yhe window for one thing profit. Brinkley and Alliance are still independent. Hope they stay that way. By the way i own none of these. Just watching the comparisons and the differences are glaring. For what you get in DRV, it is not worth $80,000 more. Great videos Myles!!!
I think anyone would if they didn't worry about time or money. Sometimes you just don't want to wait for a Luxe to be built, and this will get it done for some.
Exposed staples, glue, and brads everywhere, stapled drawer boxes, sawdust in all the cabinets... The folks who built this are not proud of their work. I would run away from this one.

Very nicely built full time rv BUT if you move a lot you better have a very good truck because this beast will wear a truck out.
Gorgeous RV. Very impressed!
This is a great RV, i'll begin the hunt for the best used models of this kind
Love it but it needs at least 2bedrooms.
imagine paying 200k and getting a shower about the same size as you get on a 35k TT.
Shower was a bit disappointing for sure
Gotta give a little to get a little! Meaning the living room space is probably bigger than the one you are talking about!

I will never understand carpet under a dining table. Dop a little tomato sauce on it, and its stained forever.

Coming Soon... Brinkley "R" models.... I have a feeling they'll change the game...

Wow complain much! That’s why there are others to choose from, not for you then don’t buy it!

Another quick note would be storage above the slide outs
As usual Myles, I love your presentation! Thank you for showing the inside first!!😂

No pantry? That’s disappointing. Those odd metal pull outs don’t have the same feel as a pantry. But, storage spaces are great!
it was a beautiful RV till I saw the floor vents.. they need to get away from them, Luxe can do it why not the rest of them
It will forever be a thing people complain about until it's no longer seen.
Floor vents 😔
$279k msrp…🤦♂️
I have made this complaint about the Houston and the Orlando several times. I would never buy this RV because of the carpet and the slides
Very disappointing in so many ways. Unfortunately would never make my short list. Great walk through Myles.
Very beautiful but too expensive for me im in the under 50k budget. That purple 🟣 flame 🔥 in the furnace was dope🤓
I will take a Luxe for an extra 100k any day over this!😊
I think anyone would if they didn't worry about time or money. Sometimes you just don't want to wait for a Luxe to be built, and this will get it done for some.
For a huge RV that kitchen is way too small. If I'm going to pay that much for an RV it's going to have a big beautiful kitchen
Exposed staples, glue, and brads everywhere, stapled drawer boxes, sawdust in all the cabinets... The folks who built this are not proud of their work. I would run away from this one.
wish that I have this one
It cost as much as a house😢
Meh… I prefer the Alliance 385FL 🤷
Very nicely built full time rv BUT if you move a lot you better have a very good truck because this beast will wear a truck out.
You definitely need something big and mighty.
