Introducing the Green List - a game-changer for employers seeking top-tier talent in New Zealand's high-demand occupations. This exclusive list streamlines the hiring process for specified high-skilled and hard-to-fill roles, offering guaranteed residence pathways for eligible individuals.
Curated with precision, the Green List comprises a select number of globally sought-after positions that are consistently in short supply in New Zealand. These roles come with specific registration, qualification, or experience requirements, detailed on the Immigration New Zealand website.
Employers navigating the accredited employer work visa job check application for these roles won't need to furnish proof of advertising. This streamlined approach ensures a smoother process for bringing in skilled professionals.
Eligible migrants employed in these high-demand occupations will enjoy transparent pathways to residence, either through a direct application or after gaining work experience in New Zealand, depending on the role. Moreover, their partners will benefit from open work rights. Note that both residence pathways are available to migrants aged 55 or younger, aligning seamlessly with the Skilled Migrant Category requirements.
It's important to note that while the Green List provides an expedited route to attract globally sought-after talent, it's not the sole pathway to residence. Other employers can still access skilled migrants, many of whom may also find a pathway to residence through the Skilled Migrant Category.
For a simplified explanation of the Green List pathway, watch our video. Best of luck, and explore the related links below for more information.

All your videos are meaningful and valuable. If Someone from Finland is planning to move to NZ, is it a good or bad decision? Reasons Finnish language is hard to learn and winter is terrible. Please explain a bit about this as a NZ person.

As you mentioned, New Zealand is significantly better with English as the main language, and the winter is not as harsh as in most of Europe and Canada. The work-life balance is amazing, and there is significant acceptance for migrants. It's a clean country that values its people, and law and order are implemented equally for everyone. However, if your primary goal is to move here to earn money, this may not be the right choice. Currently, housing prices and the cost of living are high. Hope this helps. Good luck!.

Yeah I also struggling with living cost comparison. Because in Finland can save money. If the husband and wife doing job can save one salary completely. And can travel to other europe countries easily and cheaply. However thank you so much for giving best explanation for me. Good luck for your future...💐

Tricky question. Most of the rules apply at the time your presidency application submits. . But for this I can't give a straight answer. ❤️

Can you please tell me If we apply for a straight resident visa, does it affect work experience in the country we are in now ? Do we need more experience in current country ?

Your question is not clear. However, you can claim relevant experiences from any country if you have proof.

In level 7, you may not be eligible for a dependent visa during your study period. Additionally, you might need to secure a relevant job after completing your studies. However, if you pursue level 9 (master's degree), you can apply for a partner visa while studying and obtain a 3-year post-study work visa. For further information, please refer to the following link.www.immigration.govt.nz/new-zealand-visas/preparing-a-visa-application/working-in-nz/qualifications-eligible-for-a-post-study-work-visa . also see this www.careers.govt.nz/courses/find-out-about-study-and-training-options/qualifications-and-their-levels/.
