    Thanks. But what is the tiny amount of metal added to the silicon?
    Also how is the gate opened or closed?

    • @ashketchup6443
      @ashketchup6443 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That is another topic that requires more study. Check out how a diode or transistor works, for example. But for starters, silicon may be doped with boron to give it a positive charge, or antimony to give it a negative charge. This has to do with electrons.

    A computer is BASICALLY a complex set of on/off switches. The one
    I saw in college was a set of vertical wires and horizontal wires, with a ring magnet at each intersection. This thing was about 18” x 18”. A real dinosaur.

    what's the other metal that is mixed with silicon? would be nice to know since this is the main subject of your video.

      It can be ANY chemical element or combination. I.e. Tungsten, Copper, Aluminum, Silver. Just needs a chemical element to generate conductivity.

    Explanation is incredible.. But what is that special Metal added to Silicon. Is it one metal or several metals can be added to silicon

    • @TheTechAcademyLearnCoding
      @TheTechAcademyLearnCoding  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good question. Typically phosphorus (a reactive chemical element that is essential for life and commonly found in minerals) or boron (a naturally occurring element, used in glassmaking and agriculture) are added. Metal is also used in the wires within chips.

    What about to have this videos in other languages ,in my case ,Spanish . The audience is millions and millions of students around the world . Hi ,Im Carlos Berrio, and I wonder if you all have your videos in Spanish . As interesting as they are you are missing to send your messages across to most people , specially to the most needed of them , the poor, who can afford to learn English ,in elementary school because of the quality of education they got at their schools. I’m a retired farmer living in Colombia but I wonder if this could be possible done . I have always wonder that only takes a desire ,and the rest will fall in place. Please contact me or let me know if you would be interested in my idea . Thank you.
