Kazakhstan, a land of contrasts, where ancient traditions meet modern progress, where the echoes of nomadic history reverberate through its vast landscapes and bustling cities, and where the spirit of exploration and discovery thrives.
This is exactly what it feels like to travel around the vast Central Asian country of Kazakhstan. From the absolutely breathtaking canyons and pristine lakes of Southern Kazakhstan to the forever bustling city of Almaty and the futuristic capital city of Astana, Kazakhstan is truly a one-of-a-kind destination.
In this travel video, I will take you on a ride across Kazakhstan from the southern part of the country, all the way to the north, showing the beautiful contrasts of landscapes in the steppe and its nomadic roots as well as the ruins from the Timurid era and the Slavic influence over the region, all the way to the crumbling Soviet era, the incredibly progressive present, and the bright future that awaits, compressed into this 4-minute compilation video of my journey across the country.
