What an awesome video! How exciting!!! I love the pull! Even better, No Check Engine light! 👍🔥🤟🏼🎊😊 Your ZX-4RR looks like a ton of fun! 👌🏻😎
Thanks Elizabeth, I can’t wait to get a full ride in on it such a fun build and bike
Did you try the bmw 750 or did you just get the 1250 gs?
@@ScoutsOut Hi! I tried out both bikes. I rode the 750 for about 3 weeks and then decided I wanted to try the 1250. I really enjoyed both bikes. Actually, The 1250 was a much smoother and better balanced bike than the 750. BMW really has nailed it with the comfort, speed, riding position, easy u turn ability, and all of the electronic features on the 1250. The 750 was a fun bike. However, the 1250 nails it in all aspects! Have you ridden both? 😊
@@ScoutsOut Awesome!
Nice, I have only rode the 850. And am planning on renting the 750 for the week to see how I like it.
Nice work Scout... Nice of the chaps that did the ECU to film that extra bit for you...
Great vid as always mate... :D
Yea man that was cool, I just asked them and they said sure. Just a cool way to add both sides of getting something.
I got the wife with me this week and will be renting a motorcycle for next. Would be cool if we can work out something for next week now that I will have transportation
@@ScoutsOut Oh cool... And yes... I'll msg you...
NICE. looking forward to your full ride... cant wait!!!
Me too man, it sucked as that was the last day before a work trip so I still haven’t gotten back to actually ride it
Cool bike brother! Was sorry to hear the news today about the recall and discontinuation of sales on the ZX4RR. I was thinking about picking one of these up to play with.. hmmmmmm
Yea man that really sucks. Sounds like they will try and fix it this month but who knows it is frustrating
Wait recalls?!
Yes, sadly for the alternator
Great video and as always excellent work Scout. Congratulations on the 10000 subscribers, that's awesome. Keep up the good work and ride on🤙
Thanks bro, I’m so stoked on the 10k. I’m out here now and thinking of linking up with Phil in a week or two. I’ll hit you up on IG if we come up with a plan to hang out
This is definitely on my list of things to get the moment they have it “in stock” again😂
🤔 that’s odd
What octane do you use after the ecu flash and did you have to disable the O2 sensor, exhaust valve and pair valves? I only have slip on exhaust on mine.
It’s just removing the restrictions so that it gets full power on the throttle twist all the way up to 16k rpm. No need for o2, or valve removal/delete. Still wanna stick with supreme fuel 91 and up. I currently only have a slip on exhaust as well
Can you tune it yourself now or do you need to send it out each time. 🤙
No, I didn’t want to mess with it on this bike. Once I get a full exhaust and tube I’ll have to send it back in.
I want to do this mod but don’t want to be without my bike for a long time. How long did it take you to get the ecu back ?
Yea bro it sucks to be down a bike but so worth the upgrade! It was just under 2 weeks
@@ScoutsOut thanks man !! Sounds like a must do mod. I’ll wait till it’s winter so I’ll be riding less
What tank grip is that? and do you recommend it ?
They are graves and I don’t recommend for street use, they are ok in full leathers
Hey did you have to unplug the o2 sensor and remove the AIS?
no i didn't just had it flashed and re installed it
do you have for zx 636 24??
No I had a 2018 636 but I only have the zx4rr now
The ZX4RR's ECU is much easier to take out than the Ninja 400. The Ninja's is actually a little more work to get back in but not real hard. Had my ECU reflashed by TST too with a stage two set up. Full exhaust, filter and velocity stacks. Like the way it got rid of the restrictions on the stock tune. Bike is very fun but it was fun before so...its all good!
That’s surprising it was harder to get out. I hear ya as it’s going to be cool to have the bike gain some power but I was pretty happy with it already lol
@@ScoutsOut Yeah the ECU sits down under the seat in a soft rubberized case under a brace on the subframe.. Once you loosen a few bolts and unplug the harness its easy to get out. The problem is getting the damn thing back in! Tight fit inside case but sure is easy to pull out of it! You have to shove and prod the damn thing back inside the case. Not as easy. Once you get it in there, its good. The stock tune is ok and the bike is fun to ride around town. You get blown around on the freeways at 65-70mph because its only 370lbs. TST reflash is great! Takes away the stock restrictions and ups the horsepower to 51-53hp depending on exhaust.Plus ups the torque to 30-31. I have the Yoshi full system. Had a two brothers slip on but they did not offer a header pipe so went with Yoshi. I originally ordered an arrow exhaust from Revzilla but they had it on back order for 6 weeks then Arrow did not send mine. Wait another 6 weeks or buy something else. Two brothers I went but did not look into headers. Not sure why two brothers doesn't offer but everyone else does. Graves and Sparks offered the most HP but Yoshi was right there and I liked the sound better. Plus Graves is $600 more for full system.
Now I'm messing with my VFR 800 Interceptor and will put full exhaust on it from Delkevic plus a Corbin seat for the Sport Tourer. Already have the Delkevic slip on in Carbon Fiber. The V4 sounds amazing and the VTEC kick in over 6000 rpm's is a hoot!
Keep up the great work!!
Haha almost always how it goes… so easy to get out and hell to put it back together. That’s a decent bump for the n400, I miss my n400 such a great bike. But that VFR is going to be sick!!
Cant wait for the full review. Why did you go with tst industries over some of the others.
Thanks man me too, I had to leave for a work trip that day so I still haven’t gotten to ride it after the CEL was off.
I guess I just trust the TST guys, I’ve bought so much stuff from them and the customer service is good.
Gotcha, it would be great to see a tuner shootout one of these days. Same dyno for all of them, find out who's actually the best. I like TST also.
Yea that would be cool. I wish I could just plug my FTECU in and see what is done on each tune as well. Would be Interesting
Just got my ZX6R flashed..did you just ride it a few times for the engine light to turn off?
Nice dude, yea 3 cycles on ride off is what it took for me to
@ScoutsOut you were right...after 3 cycles on the 4th no light 👍
Nice dude! How is the flash and which one did you go with?
@ScoutsOut I went with MooreMafia, really like the smoothness coming off the throttle, not to mention the extra noise from the exhaust
Nice, I still need to get a real tune for my 4rr hopefully next season after I do intake mods. Glad it all worked out for ya man
Do you know if ECU flash voids all manufacturer's warranty on the bike?
I not 100% sure but I would think yes. Now when my dealer did the last recall they didn’t say anything about it and in my opinion the warranty isn’t long enough to even care but that is just me
@@ScoutsOut4 yr warranty is cheap money from kawi
Don’t forget there’s a recall on all Kawasaki 4RR
Sad news
Alternator malfunction
Damn, just read about it. Thanks for letting me know.

Haha 👊🏽
