That final victim bruh…legends say that man’s soul STILL hovers around in that same studio to this very day; never truly able to grasp all the destruction that became upon it and occurred in a mere 30 seconds…
Week 1: Jin breaks out strong. love his very first 2 lines. His very very last few lines sound like he was thinking of something there but wasn't quite able to articulate. Still excellent. Scoop seems to be trying to tell Hassan to be prepared, but maybe it throws him off. Hassan comes back with an ok flow. I don't quite understand his first line though, , something about being in BD stirring up wanton? Jin plays into the stereotype a bit with a bow and hands together, 3:02. Hassan keeps going, nice nice, and then falls right off. Jin mentions his little sister at the end, which becomes a running theme through these battles. Week 2: OUCH. Sterling probably gives the most 'offensive' lines out of all these battles. straight written. I thought that's probably it for Jin. Yet when Jin comes back the crowd is totally behind him. They're ready to cheer him, because his comebacks are a nice rebuttal to Sterling. Jin was waiting and expecting this kind of response from at least one rapper. At the end, Scoop pumping up Jin is great lol. "HE'S CRAZY!" Week 3: Skitzo, even though I like some of his lines, I guess this seems too much like a basic performance. He ends before the full time, loses his timing a little near the end, resorts to props. I think the dollar battery line got to Jin. Jin comes back with full passion, he's great and angry here. continues his line after the music finishes. love it. slaps away Skitzos hand. Judges just looking at each other stunned lol. 8:52 someone really really screams Week 4: Skyzoo has a better flow then anyone else prior. Great. But Jin actually seems to be freestyling, really good, references the judges as well. Give it to Jin all the way here. I love how when he finishes, he pulls back and then AJ throws his hands up as well. Skyzoo is the most animated of all the rappers while Jin is going, like it's a street battle rap. Week 5: as others said, Jin's weakest week, but to be fair, Luciano is just straight rapping, not battling. perfected his entire set ending with the 'adam and steve' line. Nice flow. Seems like the beat messes up Jin a bit as it skips? at 13:46 Still though, he comes back with a strong one liner that the judges can't stop talking about. He left them with something memorable and that's what it's about. His last line is an attempt to end nicely, the extra protection into 'it's a wrap', i appreciate that. Week 6: Logan's first line is dope. I love it. and the beat is sick. Great flow. The ending though always makes me laugh. "Don't understand I got your mother dressed in Jamaican clothes, your mother's in tears" XD Excellent return from Jin. Nothing I can say about it. Perfect. Strong first line, delivery is on point at always. involving the judges who aren't Rams, and flowing into the next line with it. Ending is a bit mellow with an inclusion to his sister as usual. Week 7: I love Sean Nicholas first line. That's probably one of the top 3 opening lines out of this whole thing. But.....LOL at the rest. Jin's first line and delivery is great as well. Great finish by ending in Chinese. such great freestyling there. lines in the middle were....ok.
Week 1 - he says Jin will be in BET (the station it was on) stirring up fried wontons, saying basically the only place he has on black entertainment tv is in the back kitchen cookin. Scoop psyched Hassan out, but helped the legend of Jin be born that day.

That 30 second of Jin in Week 7 led him the 7 weeks champ was the one cemented he is that mfer, especially if you understand the chinese part
The best part about these clips is Scoop's reaction. Shit had me dying.
Yo!! Jin had me crackin up every round!!
Jin showed us Asians could rap and that hip hop is for everyone.
Asians have always been deep in Hip Hop it's just rap that we didn't have a big representative
During this pandemic would've been a perfect time for a 106& Park special of just Freestyle Fridays tournament of all the Hall of Famers to battle it out in a Best of the Best series.
"I don't mess up!" *proceeds to mess up*
Love Jin's freestyles and skyzoo's freestyle was hilarious
You can see AJ and free were fans of his freestyles by all there reactions from the punchlines, I loved seeing this when it came out every Friday when 106 was dope.
Thank you so much for this upload, I remember finding the compilation of this in high school and then it got removed
I’m here every year, this never gets old😂🏆
That second battle was hilarious 😂
“You look like Tony the Tiger, I’m bout to take a bite out of ya…little wack tail…” lmao. Dude had a nice idea freestyling about Jin’s outfit but his brain couldn’t think of the next line quick enough lol
Good ol high school days..throw back jerseys and girbaud jeans back in high school!! Jin was a beast..South Carolina i was jamming
I think Jin's toughest opponent was the last guy.
I don't know how he ws able to hold back the laughter to spit his bars. LOL!
you had us in the first half, not gonna lie :')
Every time I come back to this I can’t help but laugh at Skyzoo absolutely bodying AJ
Holla front! I'm just going start saying that for no reason
😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
John Harvin Haha “Holla Front” was one of his first singles. Look it up, it was actually a dope song.
Use to look forward to Fridays for this, We need this today, Battle 1v1 with judges. Timeless, BET use to be so good. Always thought Jin was dope and underated.
8:57 Week 4 Jin v Skyzoo is still one of the best battles in the Freestyle Friday history, imo.
Skyzoo eventually had a decent career in the music biz too. With writing music in particular
True statement. He was the only battle rapper who went toe to toe with Jin. It'll be nice to have a round 2.
#Facts
Skyzoo brought the best out of Jin that week. He had to go Super Saiyan 3 to win
Skazoo came pretty hard and then jin came back with an absolutely demolishing 30 seconds
Yeah close battle. Skyzoo makes infinitely better music though.
That final victim bruh…legends say that man’s soul STILL hovers around in that same studio to this very day; never truly able to grasp all the destruction that became upon it and occurred in a mere 30 seconds…
😂
Jin was 106 & Park king.... Week 6 was so flawless, I remember I had all these battles on VHS.
20 years later, still no one can translate Sean’s Jamaican rap.
Something about missing like binladen new York hear me callin'
🤣
😁
@@谢明月-t4q Who was he supposed to be? Bob Marley? with his fake accent'n I'll ignorre what he said, sounded like he the one scared of the dragon
Ahahahaha 🤣🤣
His rhymes verse Skyzoo were sick! He even incorporated Missy Elliot in it when she was the judge
Dude in the Kings jersey literally dissed everyone BUT Jin 😂😂😂
"HE'S CRAZY!"
Week 3: Skitzo, even though I like some of his lines, I guess this seems too much like a basic performance.
8:52 someone really really screams
Week 4: Skyzoo has a better flow then anyone else prior.
"Don't understand I got your mother dressed in Jamaican clothes, your mother's in tears" XD
Excellent return from Jin.
