Yes nothing against it, it’s just out of the box you can’t compare it to a scx24!
The Max Smasher bodies fit straight on the fcx24, it's the same chassis. Gives options. And you can buy the body clips from FMS to mount to different bodies. My only mods are metal steering link and extended trailing arms and I filled the shocks. Currently working on a diy mod to move the electronics back to balance it out a little better. Head to head with modded SCX24s it performs extremely well. Don't count it out just yet.

I agree. I am an SCX24 fan myself. I prefer the chassis. It is more versatile. While a 2 speed transmission is a nice idea. I don't need it. My MOFO Nanobeast gives me all the torque and speed I need. The axles are a good option and pair well with the SCX transmission. It is a shame that FMS decided to capitalize on the axles by raising the price dramatically after everyone started to buy them. The SCX24 platform will always be my go-to I think. But the other companies are welcome to try to change my mind.
Yo Jim, I’m with you there, I’m open to all of the others as well. I agree with the idea of the 2 speed but there are some really good motor options where that’s not needed.

Well, you put a bunch of time and money into already, you might as well run it. I've only bought 1 fcx24 and it is a custom paint job from Fair Rc called the Rusty Pumpkin. I bought it knowing it was going on the shelf. I do have the Max Smasher version which I will run the crap out of it

Love my fcx24 but the body mount tabs broke. I went with the cliffhanger body it fit perfectly
