Carmelita Landry

Inspiring story of Fitchburg's Carmelita Landry, championship speed skater who inspired a generation of winter athletes in Fitchburg and beyond, including Olympic athlete Arthur Longsjo, Jr. A French-speaking immigrant to the United States from Canada, disabled since childhood, she is remembered and honored in Fitchburg and among sports fans.
