- Welcome back to my TH-cam channel, in this week's video I made a black and white striped vase, making this vase is quite complicated because it requires a lot of splitting thin wood, and many gluing stages, it is made from two types of wood, namely hard maple and rosewood, for my finishing using beeswax, I hope you enjoy watching my video and I hope this video can be useful for many people

I see a new orange Hisimen lathe, and a different shop-made steady rest. Changes for the better???
Yes, that's right, I repainted it because it was too dirty and repaired the steady rest which was damaged

Gorgeous design. My critique is that when you cut your 60 degree angle (or any angle other than 90 degrees) you need to have your fence on the side of the blade so the blade is tilting away from your blade. Otherwise, you are risking trapping the wood cutoff between the fence and blade and risking a serious kickback. dangerous!
