Spark Double is probably one of the most underrated cards printed in War of the Spark for EDH. There are so many decks that would love to have second commander on the board
@@crovax1375 I just thought this up, I don't know how the interactions would work exactly but if that is how it works, then we've officially broken commander, how about 7 Nekusar triggers, or copy an opponent's Iona, then use Rite. The shenanigans you can come up with have me laughing my ass off.
@@kyubbiman2255 well Spark Double can only copy targets that you control. But if Iona is in the 99 she's still fair game! As for Nekusar, I already run Forced Fruition in my deck, so I doubt anyone else is going to have a fun time if Spark Double/kicked Rites gets pulled off
It's basically the black Cyclonic Rift. It usually wins you the game and if it doesn't, the board state is so bad for the other three players that you'll win next turn.
Voidmage I think you’d really like my Zedruu Group-Hug Pillow-Fort deck. All I do is play prison cards and give everyone else creatures that attack each turn so they all kill eachother.
That's funny, possibility storm is probably my least favorite card in edh. There aren't many things that piss me off in this game, but making all spells random just kills the strategy aspect of the game and makes me feel like i'm wasting my time.
So use counterspells if it's that bad in your meta. If an opponent is playing possibility storm and you're suffering for it that just means their strategy is generally better than yours.
@@lukewilliams6607 oh no, i'm not suffering because i lose to the card, the player who plays possibility storm does not win that often. In fact it ends up backfiring most of the time, so it isn't even that good of a strategy. I just find the card annoying, that's all. Don't worry, i put plenty of interaction in my decks, more than most people do.
@@FrajAce this, exactly this. I like possibility storm, I really do. But someone in my playgroup plays it only to trigger his enchantress card draw an additional time. Games with him take long enough, but with that card he just makes 10 minute turns without much progress, only to discard to handsize. I recently kicked it out of my xantcha since it's not a pure chaos deck.
In my opinion Fractured Identity is a game ruiner.. It can really shut down a single player and turn things unfair. If you use it on your own stuff to give your opponents unfavorable things then it's all fine and awesome but at least in my experience most people just use this to remove something from an opponent and that completely ruins the game for that specific player.
Alright, actually watched the video and cruel entertainment is an awesome card. Not only does it screw up your opponents game plans but it turns them on each other, which is tight 😈
A guy Fractured Identity my Animated Dead-ed Mnemonic Wall yesterday. Pretty sick...EXCEPT...I also had Smothering Tithe on board. A wasted opportunity on multiple levels.
my top 10 favourite cards in commander - anything that pisses blue players off. if you feel this comment is directed at you, it is stop it. before your playgroup starts teaming up on you "for no reason"

@@Rishoji2 ok so I want wizards to release more carnage tyrants and Prowling Serpopard and watch those blue players cry because "YOUR UNFUN YOUR NOT LETTING ME COUNTER YOU FOR THE 50TH TIME!" I mean lets just ignore how decks in standard atm are doing natural mill outs quite commonly. not because the deck is designed to but simply because no one can play. and in commander no blue player ever tries to be interesting with their deck. I have blue decks but my first instincts isn't "HOW MANY COUNTER SPELLS CAN I PUT IN IT!". the fact baral only came out recently and is the 3rd most played blue commander shows a lot about how "interesting" and "unique" they are. and lets not even address the average blue players god complex, grats you used a counterspell in talrand, no one expected that. no we wont suck your dick for countering a coat of arms.

Spark double then cast a kicked Rite of Replication, you get 5 more copies of a creature or planeswalker b/c Spark Double isn't legendary.

Recently torment of hailfire's become my favorite card, so fun to just throw it out for an absurd amount of mana when everyone's tapped out.

Teferi's Puzzle Box is awesome in EDH. You get a new strategy every turn. I've won a lot of players over to it.
