Gotta say Troy looks like he would do well in punditry as well
I actually would like to see troy deeney become a regular on TS don't always agree with him but he speaks very well
I’d love for Troy to join Jim & Simon, maybe not in a permanent weekly spot (like Souness & Keown) but maybe once every fortnight. I’d much rather see him do regular media spots (radio, tv, podcasting) than manage a side in League One or Two.
Credit where due. Very impressed with Troy today. Well spoken, mature thinking. Bravo. Let him replace Danny Murphy and Spencer Oliver all at once.

Danny Murphy's one of the few pundits that speaks any sense on TS. Rather listen to him than Souness, Keown, Mills etc

Troy - as a long standing Arsenal supporter, i did not like your Cojones comment but what you said at the time was spot on and all those players have been moved on and look at the progress the club have made.

Missed today's show. From what listened to on the clipped sections, Deeney is a quality and very authentic addition. He is worthy of a regular slot as much as Souness, Keown, O'Neil. Talksport should get him on as a regular on whatever show, ideally this one. Compliments Jim & Simon well.

He said nothing about them! Those mentioned are also great of course. Was just making the point Deeney is good radio material also and worthy of being in that sort of company.

@@james.butler. Ah okay, I can see the confusion, and I could maybe have worded that better. "Compliments Jim & Simon well", was me saying Deeney blends in well with those well. While Deeney is quite different to Simon and Jim, it works as he brings a nice balance and different perspective with some harmony and cohesion to things at same time.

The manager situation at Watford is a bit ridiculous HOWEVER, The truth is that good managers do not get the sack.

Troy was never a part of a big six team. And was never in a team that finished above Arsenal even at their worst..That says a lot about him as a player...
