That second spot you went to has a big and deep trough so when sandeels are around it can be really hot. That’s why it was so crowded

I had a lot of strike out days late fall mostly because I’m lazy and I’d show up at 8 and there were a lot of 1 hour after sunrise bite days

Depends on conditions but typically 1.5 oz

Still bass on the beach! White perch are a good option too in brackish creeks. Personally I like heading into the mountains for wild trout
