Love the fact that the two of you are great friends. Being in League City I'm going to have to try and get out fishing to see if I can run into you all out there.
Now you are doing what I did for 50 years!! Never caught much on whiting or crab. The ol' mullet gets um Everytime! Would recommend you wear chest waders though, just don't wade in deep water. Always put rod holders at edge of surf, just hammer em deep in sand.Nice video again, and nice slot red bro. Thanks for the memories.
I have caught so many bull reds with whiting heads at High Island just north of the big curb. They work every time I go. Doubled up 40”+ fish last month. It’s where you put them. You do need to find a cut in the second bar. I put one in front of it, on it, and behind it off to one side of the cut. That comment that whiting don’t work is just wrong. The head and 2nd quarter just plain work. Let them soak for a while. The mullet work if they are fresh so lots of options. It looked like you were north of Surfside beach. If where I think I had a killer day there a couple weeks ago just using shrimp and fish bites. Our coast is awesome! Keep at it. Yes, use the sand spikes too! You can set your spread up every 20 feet from near to far out. Slot reds hit shrimp pieces and fish bites all of the time just in front of the second bar. I’ll be out there Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday this week. You’re welcome to join me. Look for the white 4Runner with a big redfish on the rear window and Salt Strong logos. I love your videos! Great stuff!
this would be a pretty dope collab. You can have a video where you take him to the surf and show him a lot and mark can put a video on his channel where y’all go on kayaks to one of his spots.
I'm just about to purchase my Old Town Autopilot just like yours. Love to have your recommendation as to what Battery Volts/Amp would be ideal for my Hummingbird7 Gen4 sonar, and of course the spotlock trolling motor. Thank you so much.
Would love to give you a surf casting lesson if you’re ever interested. I met your son at the jetties one time. I did a couple casts to demonstrate the technique for him. you can ask him about me.
I love the videos, ❤brother if you want to get on some big bull reds, you should go check out the ferry landing as soon as you get off, there will be a little jetty right next to the bathroom you will be catching bullreds all day🫡
The surf has been rough this year. Glad you picked one up.
Alright alright, I guess I'll take you fishing sometime to show you how it's done.😏

Hey Mark ! tonight a cold front is gonna hit
My dad used to say it's time to move on when the hardheads start biting. Nice lice flicking.
Words to live by.

I’m currently using my FPV Power battery that powers the Minn Kota to also run the Humminbird. 100 ah battery.
Would you please tell me where you were fishing .Thank you so much.
You ever fish the Bolivar side? I grew up around Beaumont-Port Arthur area, we used to spend summers around there fishing.
I usually go there during the winter. I can’t stand the ferry lines during the summer.
Hi mark when is the surf rods would be available so you have a estimated time? Thank you.
Not sure, nothing has been mentioned yet.
Where did you get those pole holders.
Home made.
I need some like that.

When wet feet bother you so much, why not get a pair of waders?
I should’ve brought them with me but was lazy and left them at home. Next time for sure 👍.
Why don't you hook you bait to the spider weight you should be able to cast farther
I used to but the distance is insignificant.
