The 9th is too big. It needs to be divided into 5. So 17 Justices would be proper.

Expand the Supreme Court and abolish the Electoral College.
Electoral college is in the constitution. The best we could do is a federal law that proportions EC votes based on the popular vote of each state. It would not change much. The better option is to create federal law on how districts are drawn. Make voting districts squares starting with the most populated regions to least in a state. Gerrymandering has destroyed are elections by creating extreme partisan districts where a small % of one party’s voters determine in the primary the overall winner because of how skewed the district is (ie a district that is 70-80% Republican will never have a Democrat, which means candidates just have to win their party’s nomination and the best way to do that is be the most extreme Republican they can be). That’s how all these Crazy candidates spewing conspiracy theories & willing to overturn an election got in and stay in.

Senate 6 years before they must run again
The president 4 years before they must run again and they can only be elected 2 times.

You can go back to a lower court but you never serve on the Supreme Court again.

They are susceptible to impeachment (through a majority of votes in the House) and then conviction (through a Senate majority). It's built into the system. Dems just need to convince enough voters to support them/ that idea and give them Congress. That's the system. It's a good system. The Dems don't have the votes to do that this term though.

I've talked to my family and friends and convinced many to vote biden this election, some of them have never voted before. I am a transwoman and believe a trans genocide will come to the US under a second trump administration, so while I will stay until we know who has one, I am already preparing to flee the US mainland. I was born and raised here and yes always considered myself a conservative Christian republican. I still did not believe I should push my beliefs on others. RoevsWade, LGBTQ, religion. We ALL should have the rights to believe, love,marry, and do what we feel is right for our own families . That's what America is about. After seeing Trump in office my mind was BLOWN! It has been difficult to live in a community where I cannot even go to the grocery store or church without someone blaming Biden. 😒 I have been able to get through to a few to understand how our democracy is at risk because of you and your colleagues through this channel. As far as im concerned, the Supreme Court has given President Biden all the power he needs to arrest and remove all of the justices that are traitors to their oath and the constitution. He has been giving the power to arrest all the Senator's and Congressmen that backed the insurrection, and the imprisonment of trump as a traitor and insurrectionist.

Immunity from criminal prosecution has nothing to do with expanding the President's legal powers. The President simply doesn't have the authority to remove Justices from the Supreme Court.

Congress is the only entity that can add judges, and we would have to amend the Constitution to do away with the EC.
I think two thirds of the states would have to agree to change the constitution ( electoral college). The beneficiaries, the red states have no motivation whatsoever to do this. But the SC specifics are not in the constitution so that could be done IF dems have the senate and the presidency.
You demand that all you'd like, but it is impossible to expand the court without 60 votes in the Senate. It's like banging my head against the wall continuing to read the impossible b/c radical right wingers even block SCOTUS ethics hearings in the Senate and Congress!
