FINALLY someone is talking about the fix that needs to happen to fix social security. Biden in the Michagan speech advocated raising the income limit where you don't pay anymore social security tax. It is now some low number (for rich people) like $160,000 or $180,000 or so. It is an outrage and should have been fixed years ago. Go Joe!
This has become absurb, Our Democracy on skid rails due to Donald Trump's play on Democracy, political power has become Media-sized with not enough Balance of Political Power within the two major Parties, while Third Parties, unfortunately have become "predictable spoilers" not healthy Alternatives.
If you really want Third Parties that will cause you to be better represented, we must have Ranked Choice Voting.

I understand the congressman's wish at 24:00 to have his children not remember Trump. But I go with the idea that those who ignore/forget the past are apt to repeat it. I do hope the children learn about Trump in a history and/or civics class- what he did and failed to do in his time as president. I hope they will learn what happened during his failed bid for a second term and about the writings and actions of those whose machinations drove his presidency and the 2024 campaign.
