i often had this idea in discord etc. to just remove recon completly from the game and give the medium class something else and iam glad they did that. the devs pretty much do what the majority of the community wants and thats so great to see.
Well in patch notes, they will bring back Recon in different shape

My favorite use for it so far is to open the floor below the cash out. And then close it back up to get an easy steal

I was talking to my friend before the update and said that something like this would be great. And I can’t believe they gave me what I wanted. I have been making stupid plays with it, running away. Stealing cashouts, defending my cash out in a 1V3. Getting rid of enemies turrets through the floors. Closing off stair wells. And so much more
Making the cash-out station drop when they're stealing it and explosive traps are below waiting is just 😻

I’m mad they took away all the recon abilities from medium. I miss the tracking dart and sonar grenade :(

For me demat is more meta than heal. But its a little unconsistent. They need to fix 3 things with it.
1. The delay after switching to specialization before using it, theres like a second. It makes impossible to use it very fast
2. It should remove the wall and any object that are touching the wall. Like sometimes you open a wall but theres some furnitures.
3. Sometimes it opens very little holes, where you cant see, shoot or even pass trough it. The openings should be consistently bigger. Sometimes to drop a cashout i have to open 2 pieces and then i cant close it cause theres only 3 uses
My friend was pissed that they didn’t refund him for his recon. They just took it away and didn’t give him any in return so he didn’t see it as fair lmao

There needs to be a time up and time down feature for demat. U shouldnt be able to instantly open a wall without some sort of visual or audio cue. I think that could help with balancing. Just imo 😁
Dematerialize is inconsistent, like he said, there's a lot place that strategical but have multiple layer like platform or object especially outside New Map
Las Vegas is the worst place to use Dematerialize
Also it's 100% useless on Open space cash out
Nerf it just make this Ability not worth to use than other Medium Specialization that Wayyyyy better to use now
my idea on demat doesnt hard-nerf the item but add consistant counter-ability especially when counter play is what the devs had in mind when making the game. demat isnt as good on las vegas simply cuz the map is open space and not many walls to demat to begin with, but thats cuz of the map not cuz of demat. in conclusion my idea still stands as a balance change idea. no one should be able to do any action instantly, which is why mines got nerfed to not be instant, c4 got nerfed to not be instant use, turrets got nerfed to not be instant use, defibs got nerfed so its not instant use and now its time for this new specialization to not be abused by being instant. @@manyblock4192

Bro this season is cool but removing the recon sense was the worst thing they could’ve done IT WAS literally the only way to counter invis lights sneaking up on you
You should reach patch notes. The devs said they will bring Recon back, they are working on balancing it right now.
Demat should’ve been given to light class. No one wants to play with light. Demat would’ve given the push light needs to be viable in ranked
No one lmfao? Lights can be seen in every match. Maybe in really high ranks it is rare to see them, dunno. If so, then I don’t think there is will be anything useful to make them playable since low HP.
