I ran a R32 , fully built 2.6 with 2860-5. It made 598 whp at 1.5 bar. ( approx 660 bhp engine according to dynapac) the car was nuts. 520 lb ft. Rev'd to 8500. What a machine

have you got any problems with the Tomei manifold since its been a year since this vod was post? I've been told to stay away from them cause they tend to crack..
Nah only the tomei stainless steam pipe manifolds crack. The cast stainless are strong as I have never heard of them failing or cracking. However the stainless welded ones are shitty yes
Hey, I would suggest the Garrett GCC GTX2867's with a smaller rear housing for response. These turbos are the ducks nuts and are bolt ons. Even made better with cast stainless exhaust manifolds like the Tomei ones.

My r32 GT-R is a v-cam twin, but it’s a stock 2.6. Great to drive as a street car. Your 2.8 is going to be fantastic.
